Our son is returning from overseas for Christmas and asked for a photo of Berowra, the suburb he grew up in, for his present. He wanted something to remind him of home and after seeing Andrew’s beautiful photos, I thought this would be the perfect present. We were a bit late ordering however Andrew pulled out all stops to have it to us in time for Christmas. The print shows an incredible view from Barnett’s Lookout which was a favourite family picnic spot so it will be a very special memory to hang on his wall in Vienna.I could not recommend Andrew more highly for that special photograph of Berowra.

We live in Berowra and were looking for a special image of the local area for my folks to take back to the UK. Andrew has some spectacular images of Berowra and the Hawkesbury and we found just what we were looking for. Ordering the image was quick and easy and the print looks amazing. Excellent service.

I first contacted Andrew some months ago asking for his permission to paint one of his glorious photos. I had only just taken to painting during the Covid crisis and was looking for some kind of inspiration and when I came across Andrew Barnes' website and saw the photographs he had taken, I knew they were just the thing..Andrew kindly gave permission to paint one or two of his pictures and I'm so pleased he did.The quality of the landscape scenes (among others) he discovers, coupled with his ability to gauge and use light to it's maximum advantage - as well as employing modern day photographic technics to complete the process, ensures that each photograph is something you never get tired of looking at.I couldn't help but purchase several of his '22 calendars which contain some of the best photographs I've ever seen....which will be all be given (save one) to friends and family..... I'll never live long enough to paint them ALL picture.I mention the word photograph/s a lot and there's a reason for that - it's because I reckon Andrew's photographs are too damn classy to be simply called - pictures!Thanks Andrew for allowing an elderly gentleman to experience just a little of your wonderful photographic world.
