So, I stopped by to grab a pie this afternoon and the only flavour they had was a shephards pie" ... ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH $8.50 !! WHY ??? ... It was soggy like it just came out from a microwave oven ... And the worst part is that there were NOT much meat inside !! ... I might as well just bought a 4 n Twenty pie !!! .. Given the rating it has

Really delicious pastries, both sweet and savoury. Coffee was pretty good. Service was fast if impersonal - but, they get very busy. If you’re around the rocks and looking for breakfast this is a great choice!

Arrived after the morning rush hour. I ordered the the cappuccino with the roulade pistache et chocolate, and the flat white with the roulade creme patissiere. Both pastries are very sweet, so I would recommend you to get no sugars in your coffee so you can balance out the sweetness. There is no parking! My best advice would be to catch public transport, it's walking distance from buses, the circular quay tram and train station.I would recommend you to beat the peak hour times and go when it's quite so you don't have to wait too long to be seated.

Really enjoyed this place! The food was yum and the staff friendly. It was nice sitting in the back courtyard. Despite the construction nearby, the atmosphere was relaxed. A nice place to come for a treat. Will definitely be back to try more sweets

Historical buildings always intrigue me!Strolled past and dropped in for a coffee and was met with pleasant smiles and the aroma of beautifully displayed pastries, chocolates, cakes, slices...The service was impeccable and I was instructed to collect my coffee from a hole in the wall at the side of the building. I am so glad I did... I stumbled onto some amazing background of the building which led to a labyrinth of cobble stone paths and more to explore. There is a shaded seating area at the back and around the corner if u want to sit off the street and I was blown away by just how beautiful my whole experience was here.

Obviously it is a famous cafe and bakery as many people queued up. The cakes are good although sometimes not fresh, like it’’s been there for 2-3 days, which maybe normal. Croissant is average.

The best French bakery in Sydney. The almond croissant is incredibly delicious and the pork bacon fennel is amazing. They have an amazing selection of foods for all. The courtyard seating is perfect for a date spot or an amazing spot to have a quiet meal with friends.

Found this place through the 'Amazing Co Experience'. Quite a nice cafe, their pastries are delicious and fresh. The only thing is the shop itself is very cramped when you go inside.

We were staying nearby and ended up coming by for breakfast every morning we were in Sydney. The meat pies (esp. the beef bourguignon pie) were the best we had in Australia. The pastries, danishes, croissants and small cakes were all divine. Really you can’t go wrong here. I wish we had even a single patisserie in our home town that was as good as this one. Excellent prices too, especially given the downtown location.
