Tokar Estate
Visited spontaneously on a gloomy Saturday evening before a local event and was a great find! Staff were attentive, lighthearted and let us do the wine tasting in a flexible format at our own pace. Aromatic delicious selection of wines and cheese.

Visited Tokar Estate for lunch today with a friend.First impressions of the building we're spectacular, I appreciated the architecture!When we arrived for our booking our table was not quite ready, the manager offered us a glass of bubbles complimentary as we waited.Once seated we enjoyed a limoncello spritz each while eating the croquettes & bread to start.For entrees I choose the calamari & my friend the terrine.For mains I choose the lamb & my friend the barramundi.The sides - Layered potatoes & salad.We absolutely loved everything about Tokar, you can tell the menu was created with a lot of love.Can't wait to bring my husband back!Thank you greatly!!!

Came to the restaurant for lunch with friends. Wait staff were lots of fun. Calamari entree was great. Had lamb for main, didn’t love it, but it was okay. Potatoes said crispy on the menu but weren’t. Desserts were good, my olive oil cake was really a deconstructed apple cake, which was a nice surprise. Need to come back and try their cellar door next time.

The entrees were delightful and and very tasty. However for the main the beef rump we got were really tough and full of sinew. It was really sad as we were having such a wonderful time and in an amazing garden.

By far one of the nicest wineries in the region.Sat outside today for an early mothers day lunch. The weather was glorious and the view was exceptional.The resturant is intimate which is rare for the valley, but is what makes this place a gem.The wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable, very professional.We had the two course menu, which was very reasonably priced at $65 including a drink. We included some sides and some coffees and overall was very reasonable.The food was generous and tasty. A very accessible menu with fresh produce.A wonderful afternoon overall. We dined for Sunday lunch & dined on the 3 course menu. For entree I had the rainbow trout, for main I had the grilled lamb (with shared sides of roast potatoes & winter slaw) & for dessert I had the earl grey brulee. I also enjoyed a few Rita likes ginger cocktails. All the food & cocktails were delicious & well presented. As we were celebrating our anniversary we got the best table next to the window & on the beautiful sunny day we visited the view was divine to match the food, drinks & service. Our waiters Charlotte & Dani were amazing & friendly. I hope to return & enjoy the choc fondant as hubby had that for dessert & I had total food envy. Recommend as a lovely fine dining restaurant.

Great service & wonderful view & delicious cuisine.My partner and I went there last Sunday. We left a message saying it’s the first time we went there and hoped they could arrange a good spot for us. We were so surprised that they did reserve a table right in the middle of the outdoor dining area with stunning view of the vine yard. Really appreciate it!Food definitely meets my expectations and wines are great.Great destination for weekend romantic getaway.

Joined the Fiesta Del Fuego at Tokar after wine tasting at their cellar door. Absolutely authentic and fantastic experience. The live music and the superb service made the evening unforgettable. Not to mention to food, which was mouthwatering and well curated. We could see how much thinking and love were poured in the event. Well done Tokar. We cannot wait to visit again.

Wonderful lunch on Australia Day.Enjoyed sitting under the umbrella overlooking the vineyard and to the hills in the distance. This provided a great setting to eat great food. Try the croquettes, the tomato tart, the pork belly, and the roast beef. Interesting combinations that truly work.Choose from 2 or 3 courses with sides extra.The service was attentive (congratulations to Daniel and Charlotte). Get Daniel to make a cocktail and try the estate wines, especially the reds.A great venue.
