Lake Purrumbete Holiday Park
If you love nature, lake fishing and spectacular sunrises and sunsets visit this park. The locals are awesome people and fun to be around. There is a little tackle shop at the park, excellent fishing facilities. Lots of space for children to play and local wildlife to see up close if you keep your eyes open! It is a secret haven for bird lovers and artists too. Enjoy!!!

Cabins are good value, definitely need to come back with our boat, the fishing jetty is a great set up but is surrounded by weeds at the moment

We spent a wonderful few days here last weekend. Very pleasant park. Clean and comfortable. Took a walk to the cafe on the lake where lovely Lois and staff serve great food. Thanks to all the staff at the park . We look forward to seeing you again.

Top place to stay with a great fishery. I have notice your web site says that there is no water skiing on lake purrumbete. Is that something that just doesn’t happen or is there an official ban on it by the authorities?

We perfect location for the fishing family. Didn't know much about the lake or facilities before arriving, but owners are amazing. Happy to share the fishing tips and the most amazing stocked shope full of bait and tackle.Lots of privately owned onsite vans, who are great to chat to. There was even a koala up a tree near the pier. The fishing is amazing, great boat ramps that make it easy to load and unload. Great facilities for groups, with wood heating and bbq's available in a comfortable pergola area. Play ground for the kids and felt very safe.We will be back, we didn't get that trout !

Great place to relax, clean and serviced facilities, camping spots are large. And cabins neat and clean. Would recommend to anyone wanting a holiday. Off season is best. No people around to make noise.

Lake Purrumbete Holiday Park
This place is missing a star because there really isn't anywhere along the water to go without disturbing the nesting areas of birdlife. It was my assumption that being kid and pet friendly meant there was a bit of waterfront. The place really is just for boats as pier fishing is nigh impossible. If you stay here then look for alternative swimming or other water recreation spots which we only found one at Lake Bullen Merri.
