After a couple of very satisfactory visits to the clinic, first the administration wheels fell off, followed by the clinical wheels, and a great deal of time was wasted as my husband tried to get biopsies taken. Referrals which should have been handed over languished in files as we made multiple appointments ($40 out of pocket each time) to collect them, not to mention the one hour round trip each time. Finally, we sent an email to the treating GP, wanting to get written confirmation that the biopsies could be taken at the next appointment. We received a phone call as we were driving into Bairnsdale from the irate GP who accused us of wasting his time with emails. He then cancelled the appointment. The upshot is that we’ve sent complaints to APHRA and the Health Complaints Commissioner. The resultant delay in treating a very serious illness should have been avoided, and could have been if the practice observed the bare minimum in professional standards. Nobody facing a long term illness should be treated with such careless lack of interest.

I went in to speak to a GP about severe pain in my hips. After being told I needed an MRI they lost my referal twice and didnt bother to tell me. After finally sorting it out with multiple phonecalls to the hospital and the receptionists i finally had my MRI scans. I waited over 2 weeks for results or contact from my doctor. Nothing! So I called and i was informed by the receptionist that my doctor had stated that there was no further action to be taken. Even though he had done absolutely nothing to rectify the problem. I have since obtained a copy of my MRI scans. I have severe arthritus in my hips along with swelling in my joints and cists on my bones effecting my everyday life with limited mobility.... I'm a 33 year old male who was very much looking for any help to get back into sports and physical activities.This doctor had done the absolute minimum by saying no further action" of which he didn't even have the decency to contact me and tell me. When I asked to speak to him personally I was informed that he could only speak to me if I paid for another appointment.... absolutely disgusting! Stay away from this place! I cannot stress that enough!"

Dr Elnaz is the doctor that I see and have for some years. She is a wonderful doctor and always listens not to mention keeps me in good health. She has a wonderful manner and you never feel like you are being rushed out the door.

What a lovely doctor surgery! Thank you for fitting us in. We were just travelling through and have not been able to get our daughter in anywhere! They got us in and saw us very quickly. Staff and doctors so nice and friendly. Keep it up :-)

Knew to East Gippsland and needed to find a new clinic. We struck gold! The staff are amazing! I can honestly say Dr Ari is the best doctor we’ve been to in more than 20 years. Highly recommended!

I've tried every doctor and every medical centre in this town and I couldn't believe the service I got at Advantage HeathPoint. Lovely, patient and caring receptionists and big clean waiting room. After years of feeling ignored and dismissed Dr Khorshidian is the best doctor I've ever seen. She was so caring! and actually listened and then actually helped! Cannot recommend her and thank her enough for what shes done for me

Booked an appointment with a GP to follow up on an emergency visit with complications due to the Covid Vaccine. Was seen for 3 minutes and shoved off to the hospital and was charged $92. Doctor placed me in the too hard basket. Would not recommend, very unimpressed. However, the reception staff were lovely and were very apologetic for the GP’s actions.

Thank you so much to the caring reception staff for getting us in the same day . Dr Khorshidian is fantastic and was so lovely with my sick daughter .

Were I a car and this medical centre a garage who had just had me serviced, I am quite sure I would have refused to pay the bill!Sure, the mechanic looked under the bonnet and might have told me of some minor problems with the engine that I wasn't aware of.But it would have been entirely appropriate for him to deal with the major issues that I brought to his attention - especially those that definitely required further and, possibly, urgent investigation.Instead, I got lumbered with a very expensive bill for work that barely even existed!
