Nice little ice cream shop just around the corner from the Esplanade.Lots of flavours, and some interesting toppings .Some seating outside the shop on covered footpath.Ice cream was very nice, I had the Macadamia flavour.But it was a little soft, not hard enough. Hopefully next time their freezers are working a little harder.Ice cream like this needs to be cold and hard .

It’s cold rock you know what your up for when you get here. Sadly customer service was a tad pushy to get the customer in and out of the door. Over all the ice cream is always amazing and the mixtures are fantastic.

Had this last week and it was AMAZING!! Came back to it for our last night in cairns before flying off, we called to check closing hours and we rushed over but was 3mins late and they already kept the ice cream and we were so extremely devastated :(

Very good ice cream shop. Lovely staff. Mixins are a great touch to add to your ice cream. The shop can get busy but they seem to know how to get through the orders quickly so we didn't have to wait. We will return soon.

Staff were so friendly and kind. Very welcoming and quick with customer service. Haven’t had cold rock in years and just as yummy as I remember. Will be back :)

Absolutely appalled with the disappointing and unenthusiastic service from all four staff working on 13/06/23. They couldn’t have gotten us out of the shop any sooner.The ice cream was melted before we even were given the cups. We’re very lucky we didn’t order on Uber Eats.Our “mix ins” were all chunks and were gone in seconds as nothing was mixed. Very very disappointing. Would not recommend absolutely anyone to stop here. If I could do 0 stars I would.

Can be busy, but customer service is pretty fast. A wide range of icecream flavours, however I find that the taste of each flavour is not that strong- so they all taste pretty similar. You can select from a variety of mix-ins which include tim tams, mini marshmallows, Kit Kats, peanut butter, M&M's and plenty more. They chop it into the ice cream on a cold, marble bench top- hence the name cold rock. Quantity of mix-ins is good, but they end up making the ice cream expensive. I wish the ice cream itself had a stronger taste/flavour and was a better quality.

Has been good for past few nights with grandchildren. Tonight abhorrent. Initially young staff member helpful then overtaken by abnoxious rude person who appeared to be the owner.When my son who was a bit complexed said have my children done anything wrong. She said. I don't like children. Go figure. Who is the target audience. Go elsewhere. Plenty of options nereby.Never go there again. Hopefully this small business can go under.

Worst experience ever! The lady who seems to be the owner rudely mopped over my feet making me feel rushed to get out after paying $12 for ice cream, not only is this a very money hungry business they don’t give you any taste testers of ice cream. I do not recommend coming here seeing as though each time I come here I regret it.
