Pet Country Pet Store and Aquarium

Amazing prices with good variety, my partner and I went to 4 different stores both produce and chain and this store had the best prices on most everything we were after.Money well spent, Money well saved.

Found this pet store tucked right behind Soo Sweet. I was very impressed by the wide variety of fishes available eventhough the shop is small. The lady behind the cashier was very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. I found the cheapest gravel for fish tank!! Only $3! Bought a few of that. Fish accessories sold such as filter and sponge was at reasonable price if not it is definitely affordable here. Feeder shrimps was $1 each or 7 for $5. This shop takes utmost care of their fishes: If you ever want to buy a fish, make sure you have already set up your tank at home 2-3 days prior so that fishes don’t die immediately when they get into ur newly fresh fish tank. Fishes needs time to adjust with new water change and this is what I’ve learnt as a beginner.

Went to this shop around three years ago and got terrible service. Because I am local I thought I would give them another go about a week ago. Seemed ok bought some fish two Angels and three small shark, unfortunately the shark died within three days so as per the sales girls information the day I bought them about replacing fish that die I went back in today to see what could be done. Was told I needed the bodies of the fish and a sample of my tank water, the sales girl then pointed out the disclaimer taped to one of the fish tanks. This is fine although this was not explained when I bought the fish, and when I mentioned it would be great if this was pointed out when people bought the fish as it would have been helpful I was told why should we do that".I have kept fish for many years and know enough to get by and this to me this is just another scenario of dont worry about the customer and there opinion or knowledge.Lets not consider the simple thing "with out customers there is no business" this will be the last time I buy fish or anything from Pet Country and will recommend to people if you are thinking about purchasing fish from Pet Country "READ THE DISCLAIMER""

Nice little store hidden away out back.Friendly staff work here. Fish and plants looked after well. Good discounts on cat carriers.

The staff are lovely and really helpful but I probably spent about $50 in there for a beta fish for my 2 year old and some supplies for it only to have the fish die 3 days later yet I still have the beta my partner got himself the day after from a different shop ( he was jealous and wanted one to ) treated both fish the same ( yes I had them in separate pre-cycled tanks ) but the fish from this store was just not acting right since we got home. It’s sad but sometime this happens

The service here was ordinary the girl behind the counter looked like she don't want to be there and didn't really offer me information about a harness I purchased I took 1 back because was to small I got a bigger one but it don't fit either but they never offered to really help me get the right size and now I live further away from the store it's not worth the travel to get my money back they also claim they have $2 collars I seen none infact they didn't seem to really have many collars at all. I've recently ended up passing by the store recently the staff this time were nicer but I would not shop here again it's just cheap garbage worse then a cheap shop for dog collars the one I ended up buying. I washed my dog and now she has red colour all over her beautiful white chest from the cheap and nasty collar now I got to go buy another one never again would I buy anything from this store they gave me a couple treats for free I think it's just away to make you comeback sorry but that won't bring me back ever again and the cheap dog shampoo on special for $8 is not worth it either my dog stunk after 2 day cheaper to go to a washbay for dogs and with %110 better results for

Got a new little baby stimsons python today, absolutely fantastic staff, the ladies there answered all my questions, and even helped me, post sale, via messaging, to answer questions I had. Took the time to make me feel comfortable about a very big investment, and even got me a new little tank for my new baby!Couldn't be happier!Thanks a bunch!
