Our VW urgently required a spare part. We called the Bill Buckle dealership, and kept getting transferred to the wrong person. After finally getting through to spare parts, we got the run around again, before being told they didn't have the part, but Liverpool did not, and we were directed to Hoxton Park, where an extremely frustrated staff member informed us that the Bill Buckle dealership has no way of viewing the inventory of other stores, and sent us on a wild goose chase.We wasted half a day, and will never order VW parts from a dealership again.

I recently purchased a T-Cross from Bill Buckle VW in Brookvale . Patrick was my main point of contact during the sale. I felt Patrick was polite, friendly and honest.I didn’t feel pressured or upsold on unnecessary features or finance, and if anything he encouraged the more popular features of the ‘Life’ rather than the ‘Style’. The entire team was incredibly accomodating, especially during the busy periods of the weekend, despite being under staffed.Together we were able to negotiate a deal I was very happy with.In addition, the 5 year unlimited Km’s warranty I hope will not be required but does instil a level of comfort.Overall it was a good experience buying a car from Patrick and I would recommend the services in this showroom.

My experience buying a Tiguan last weekend was amazing, thanks to William and Jayson. They kept me well-informed with excellent communication throughout the process. Despite some finance hurdles due to my temporary work Visa, Jayson went above and beyond to secure the best rate for me. Picking up the car was a blast, with William being super friendly and explaining all the features, especially the infotainment system, in detail. I also saved a good amount of money compared to other local VW dealers. Overall, it was a memorable and satisfying experience.

A mix of the 2 in terms of experience, poor communication at first leaving us in limbo however improved towards the end and in house customer service was very good.Daniel from parts followed up afterwards to apologise for experience which was fair also.Advise is to ensure you keep in touch with BB to get the service you wish.

I've had nothing but poor experiences dealing with this dealership.From it taking nearly a week for an advertised vehicle to be made available for inspection to buy because a staff member was driving it around, to then waiting eleven months for a towbar to be fitted to the vehicle as was paid for during the sale, to then having the fitting of the towbar take two days to complete while I drove a loan car that was given to me with enough petrol to get 10km from the yard before the fuel warning light came on, to then finding that three of the six bolts that hold the freshly-fitted towbar were loose, and noone in either the dealership or Volkswagen themselves seeming to be able to give me (a licenced mechanic of almost 20yrs) the torque specs so I can rectify their shoddy installation work myself. The number of Nm the bolts require appears to be a closely guarded state secret... The off-shore call centre VW makes you deal with won't tell me, the dealership wants me to waste another day or so of my time bringing the car back and to trust them to get it right the second time, and emails asking for reasonable technical information under right of repair laws go unanswered.I've sent well over a dozen emails, and have made at least as many phone calls trying to get the towbar kit fitted, and to get technical support to fit it correctly since it was installed, and am still waiting, now 14mths since I bought the car.$69K spent, zero customer service given.The sales people, the service department, the dealer principal Nick Turton, and VW's customer care team have all been horrifically poor in their customer service with me to date.I won't be back, ever again, for anything at all, and encourage anyone who reads this review to have second thoughts before they deal with this business as well.EDIT: I was emailed very quickly after this review went up and asked to remove it. I was also given a variation of the reply below,blaming the total lack of communication and customer service that I received from Bill Buckle VW on the Covid pandemic which has zero relevance to why I had to initiate contact at every stage of this debacle, why noone at the dealership knew anything, why noone could give me updates and why no care was taken at all. They had my money already, and I believe that that's all that mattered to them.I work in retail myself, and completely understand supply chain issues and problems with ETA's in the current climate, with many of our customers waiting well over a year for items but the glowing difference between the business I work in and Bill Buckle VW is that we actually keep track of our customers, we update them on progress, we give them options, and we look after them with detailed handovers and care when their goods finally do arrive from overseas.We don't forget about them, leaving their orders open and ignored. We follow-up regularly and actually reply to phone calls and emails.We don't make a big deal of giving people a 'free' car wash after having wasted two days of their time.And we don't email customers that give us bad reviews and essentially blame them for not seeing 'the big picture'.When we get bad reviews we apologise to the customer, make good on their issues and then look inward and try to learn what we did wrong, so that we can improve. Bill Buckle VW has done none of that.I do appreciate the screenshots from erWin of the torque settings having now been given so I can now source new bolts and fit the towpack properly myself. Why those two photos were so difficult to supply, I'll never know. Surely when fitting the kit in the first place the workshop would have accessed this information to do the job properly? Or was it just a case of send the ugga-duggas and hope for the best? Seeing that the bolt torques were all over the place when I checked them with a digital torque wrench, I expect that it was the latter.
