Food was very delicious. Sangria was great. I really enjoyed the garlic prawns was a highlight. Chicken with mushroom was very good too. Waiter was excellent - very prompt service and managed all tables by himself very well. Well done

We arrived at the restaurant, slid the door open and stepped into a rustic looking, cozy small restaurant. We were shown to our table and complimentary dinner rolls were provided. The wait staff was not very friendly but was always attentive.We ordered the garlic prawns as entree, this is a MUST have.For mains we had the seafood platter, the bacalau regional and chicken skewer.When the seafood platter arrived, I was surprised that the kids gave their nod of approval with a satisfying mmm...". That was enough for me to know that the dinner was going to be good.The bacalau arrived soon after and we were surprised by the size of the fish. It was a very large dish. The fish was very good and yummy. We loved the texture of the fish.The chicken skewers is a Must have. It was tender and tasty. Just beautiful.We had a great dinner to celebrate a birthday and we will return.It was also great to see a small group of older folks sitting in the backyard playing cards. I can imagine that is what they do in Portugal. This must be like home to them."

Delicious authentic Portuguese food. Nice quaint restaurant with friendly staff. Reasonably priced and large portions. Great place to enjoy a nice meal.

Very disappointing experience this time, brought a friend coz last time it was really good.Restaurant was full of smoke, so had to leave the door open to let some out. Waiter was pretty gruff, well that just went from bad to worse.Asked for salad and beef skewers, but brought me out the full banquet, wouldn’t even stop for me to explain. Asked for a replacement knife for my friend’s steak knife, didn’t bring it out until the end. Some of the beef was so salty, it wasn’t editable.Lastly, billed me for the full banquet and told me “if you didn’t eat it all, it’s not my problem”. Then the EFTPOS machine wouldn’t work and they wanted us to wait around. Gave them cash instead, they come back and give us the cash coz it finally went through.Perhaps they’ve watching Fawlty Towers!

Worst dining experience ever! Rude host who made me wait 55 minutes (when there was only 1 other customer!) for over-cooked grilled octopus which was so tough and rubbery that I couldn’t eat it! When I complained she just shrugged her shoulders and said, “that’s how they have been coming lately from the market – very tough”. So why did she serve it, I asked. She walked off. No apology. No offer of exchange. Nothing. I returned the plate and told her again that it was inedible, but her dominant attitude continued so I just paid the full price of $30.00 because I felt very intimidated by this person and all I wanted to do was get out of there!

We had the seafood platter which was delicious, cooked and seasoned well and washed down with a lovely (fresh) bottle of Portuguese white wine.A great menu, will go again.

Horrible experience, as soon as we arrived the waiter said to leave because it was too full in a really rude way, even though we saw a few tables left, so disrespectful. After we left to find something else to eat we saw him welcoming new guests to other tables. “After 5 minutes we left”I always wanted to try this restaurant, but hopefully they teach manners to the staff.

First time to the shop after walking pass it for so many times. The food is lovely and they reminded me some of the restaurants I went to in Macau years ago. Friendly service and cosy settings.
