Australia Post - Caulfield Junction LPO

Very incompetent staff. I was supposed to receive a parcel from overseas with a lot of expensive clothes inside. On the package the unit number was missing, but all the other data were correct. They considered it as a inexistent address and sent it who knows where (still have to discover where. I got this info from the call centre, not from them, of course). They didn't even try to call me (my phone number was on the package) to ask for the unit number. I guess their job is to try to deliver items, they didn't even try at all.

EDIT: Picked up my parcel the following Monday after I posted my initial review. Friendly staff and quick process - I have updated my rating.Original review:INCORRECT OPENING HOURS: Both the website and my parcel pick up slip states that this LPO is open on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm, but when I got there at 11am it was closed. There was a notice on the door that said from 15/2/21 onwards, the opening hours would be Mon-Fri 9am-5pm + Sat 9am-12pm. No other signage to indicate what the opening hours would be from now until then... does that mean it is closed completely until the 15th? I guess I'll find out when I try my luck on Monday.I feel bad giving a 1 star review but I wanted to give people a heads up. I'll update my rating after I get to pick up my parcel to better reflect my experience with their customer service.

The staff are helpful and competent. Not chatty, but they get the job done in a very busy post office. Been coming here for many years - wouldn't go anywhere else.

There is ONE competent worker there. Otherwise, unhelpful, unknowledgeable, slow, unwelcoming, hopeless and rude!! They are the post office that deals with out deliveries and have lost 2 packages! Disgusting and unapologetic!

Rude staff. I arrived 5 minutes before they close and was waiting in line. When my turn came, the lady in the front asked me about the transaction I needed and suddenly claim that they have to close the store and I should come back next week" (it was Saturday). She also said that they don't get paid extra hours. This is ridiculous

My package never delivered to my apartment. Even I already given the instructions. They told me the driver is contacted so they can’t do anything. Well… it’s been annoying I have to pick up the packages every time, specially I have to work.

Leon is a sensational postmaster at Caulfield Junction Post Office, never gets flustered always ready to help in all ways.

great service here! helped me send my parcel (it was my first time sending one so i had a lot of questions lol) despire being so busy on a saturday :-) really appreciate it

So disappointing, really slow and frustrating service. Which in turn means there's always a long wait and the staff are tired and don't care. Beware also their drives to leave collection notifications!
