Home | Aroma Coffee House & Eatery | The Aroma Coffee House & Eatery opened on 14th January 2019 and from day one, we knew they had something the local East Gippsland community had been waiting for. We designed the space as somewhere we would want to spend time. With that in mind, the Aroma brand was created.

A must visit for breakfast! Eggs made to perfection (checkout the photos) along with great coffee and freshly squeezed OJ! We are repeat customers in this nicely appointed eatery.

Delicious fresh food and vibrant, welcoming customer service that made us feel welcome and rejuvenated by the end of our breakfast. Iced coffee with oat milk was beyond delicious, and the other coffees were also high quality. The energy and good-humoured banter of the front of house staff looking after our table was a highlight. Our plates didn’t get cleared away, but we were overall happy. We would love to see a shift to table service!

The food was good, a little pricey however coffee also delicious. Only downside is the mature aged waiter was so rude.It was as though we were a burden which did ruin the experience. There was a lot of huffing, puffing and eye rolls after simple requests such as water and an extra sharing plate for our little one.Reading other reviews it seems many people have had similar experiences with a “mature aged, older lady” which is a shame.

Lots of staff, but very slow to serve, counter service only, despite not being busy.Caesar salad was so heavily salted it was impossible to eat- the croutons were wafer thin slices of sourdough, that had been salted whilst grilling- so much salt that you could see the masses of crystals on the bread. This along with the salty dressing and parmessan cheese made for a mouth burning experience- without exaggeration.The fancy chocolate- the chilli chocolate was divine- though bought in from somewhere else.

Great place to visit for brunch, I took my granddaughter and she had the eggs which were delicious and so was her smoothie. Avocado smash was also great. However, our food took a while to arrive but the atmosphere was very nice. Highly recommend if you're visiting Metung.

Beautiful cafe, warm and cosy, food was okay, nice and quick.Service from the staff was good except one of the older waitressesWho was beyond rude and just nastyI was shocked and thought she might be having a bad day but going off other reviews it doesn’t seem the caseIt’s a pitty because the rest of the staff were warm and inviting

Looking for a place for lunch for my daughter, 2 gradchildren and mother we could not drive past this bright and inviting cafe.This is with no regret, the service and food were exceptional, staff were patient while we orded for the children. We had coffee and my daughter had a chocolte milk shake she said was amazing,the coffee was so nice I had take away also The cafe was light and roomy and staff accomadated the children without any apprehensions. Make the effort to take a drive and enjoy food and beverages at this beautifully hidden gem at Metung in Gippsland.
