Following a tour of HMT I entered the restaurant at midday after noticing a blackboard at the front advertising bacon and eggs with coffee for $12. I placed my order, requesting scrambled eggs and wholemeal toast, plus a weak flat white. Only sourdough bread was available so I agreed to that. After being seated for 10 mins or so I was told that the breakfast menu was no longer available and did I want to order something from the lunch menu. She went away to get that menu but then came back and said I could have bacon and eggs on a bagel, instead of toast. When it arrived the egg was fried, and the bagel toasted. I couldn't understand why they couldn't just toast a piece of bread which I would have preferred to a bagel. Actually the egg and bacon themselves were very tasty, but served on such a small plate it was practically impossible to cut without things falling off. Another disappointment was the coffee which was full strength.I usually go to Dome where bacon and eggs are available all day, with wholemeal bread and weak coffee.

Good food and decor. Was sat for 5 minutes before anyone came to ask what drinks we wanted, ordered with table water, came back with drinks but no water. Had to call over a waiter to ask for water. Very slow to clear plates. Friendly and police service otherwise.

My boss told me about this place and it just caught my eye today. I went in without expectations and was happy to see a good range in both their drinks and food menu.I decided to go with the Skuttlebutt Rose and the Pork chilli bites. Something cheap I thought to myself.The Rose was pretty good, but the Ferguson Valley Arida Rose which wasn't on the menu today is certainly better. The waitress was kind enough to let me have a taster after my meal. If I had more time I would've stuck around for another one.The meal was quite mind blowing to say the least. It reminds me of a deep fried brawn served kaarage style. Sans rice. Anymore carbohydrates than the three sweet potato chips would've been over kill. The egg. Oh my goodness. Cooked to perfection. Whatever this was just made me love eggs even more than I already do. This makes me want to go back for more because I think the kitchen has great ideas. There is some familiarity in the menu with some of the options reminding me of pub food. But what I had today is proof that these guys are serious about pleasing people with innovation and gusto.I will be coming back for more. For $30 you guys gave me more than what I could have asked for. Thank you Crew and King.

Went to a show last Tuesday so booked a dinner at this restaurant for 6 pm as the show started at 730 pm so only to be told at 715 we won’t be getting dinner as the new chef couldn’t keep up with the orders, No sorry no can we offer you some bread nothing, very disappointing

An oasis on a very hot day. Amazing service, coffee was divine & beautiful ambience for a meeting. Great staff.
