Davies Plain Hut

Was a bit busy at Easter but fantastic iconic spot to get to.

Excellent camping spot. only capable 4x4 though

What a great place to visit in the high country

Nice hut and awesome location.

Nice but, good expanse of land, pleasant easy tracks between VIC & NSW

The hut was originally built by the Gibson family for cattlemen's use in 1939, but the last cattle were grazed here in 1956 a must go an absolute beautiful drive straight out from Jindabyne to Thredbo Tom groggin campground across to the Victoria border and straight into the Victoria High Country is one of the first huts you come to absolutely brilliant campsite the Victoria huts Association saved this up from burning down in the fires at 20:20 well done I apply for anyone with a four-wheel drive to whip down there and have a brilliant camp holiday at this magnificent Hut will not cost you a cent,,,, back in May2023 bit boggy to get too, and cold but my favourite cammping site was still a hit.

A hard place to get to but worth the effort

Lots of camping space, picnic table & there is a drop toilet.

Getting there is half the fun! Great spot
