Such a great road trip to enjoy lunch by the lake at The Boathouse in Daylesford. We had the three course and everything was so fresh and delicious. And the staff and owner are so welcoming and nice. Would definitely come back!

I only realised I previously visited the Boat House in Daylesford many years ago when I got there! Under new management, they had renovated and made it so serene and romantic, with stunning views of the lake and gardens. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. But the highlight was the food! The steak and pork belly were cooked to perfection. The presentation of the dishes was also impeccable. Overall, I would highly recommend the Boat House for anyone visiting the Daylesford/Macedon ranges area.

What better place to spend a day out then in Daylesford. Such a magical little to win full of welcoming locals. The Boathouse not only offer fantastic food, beverages, service and ambiance but also shows of the natural surrounds of nature. The lake is amazing, go for a romantic stroll and breath in the fresh air. You will not be disappointed.

A really excellent restaurant that made for a great day trip from Melbourne. The view is unbeatable as the restaurant is right on Lake Daylesford and the interior of the venue is just beautiful.We had the 3 course lunch menu and the presentation for every dish was immaculate. Wonderful flavours and the standout dish was the Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee for dessert.

Excellent, place for lunch with nice lux touches. All the dishes were well thought and tasty. The portion sizes were excellent. The staff were very friendly. Note there is a minimum spend per person of $45 for lunch and $60 per dinner. The place is in a excellent location with a generous parking space infront of the premises. You will need to book ahead the place gets busy in the warmer seasons.

The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was quick and wait staff were very attentive but also gave us our space. The location was great and we will be back again.

Very nice three course meal, the entries of Ocean Trout and Beef Tartare were fantastic and very well presented. The Baramundi mains was very generous and perfectly cooked. Confit Duck with lentils and asparagus mains was also very nice. Overall a very nice experience. Definitely recommended.
