I took my group to Kanyaka Ruins. It's an amazing place to visit, with so much history.In-between Quorn and Hawker so is easy to get to.It's beautiful and picturesque area.I highly recommend going to see this place, as it shows how hard they had to work and survive back then.

A great place to stop off and explore some of the pastoral history. The signs and information are interesting, and the photographic opportunities good. It is in a beautiful location. Don't forget the Woolshed which is a short drive from the homestead and is unique. I spent an enjoyable and engrossing 45 minutes there. Definitely worth a visit.

Kanyaka Station was a cattle and sheep station in the Flinders Ranges of South Australia located at Kanyaka, approximately 40 km north-north-east of Quorn, South Australia. The area was inhabited by Aboriginal people for thousands of years before European settlement. The name of the station is taken from the Aboriginal word thought to mean Place of stone"."

I love old buildings this place is amazing and they have done some upgrades which is good so you can get all the information on how they would of used this sites many years ago.

Extensive ruins to explore. Signage explains what each building was used for. At dusk and dawn the photo opportunities would be beautiful.

This is an amazing place, trying to imagine what life would have been like back in those colonial days. Lot of hard work obviously went into establishing these places.

The remains of this once vast homestead are impressive. The wool sheds further down the road are just as impressive and worthwhile visiting. A visit to the cemetery across the creek is also a good looking place for the deceased
