NRMA Halls Gap Holiday Park

This is our second stay here. The location is great and the kids had a ball on the jumping pillow, however much of the school holiday activities the kids enjoyed during our last stay have been replaced by a Bear Grylls activity camp that is for over 6’s and expensive, so that was disappointing, especially on the rainy days we experienced. We stayed in a 3bd cabin, it was dated, the kitchen was not very well appointed and the mattress was terrible. Factors that could have been overlooked if it was not for the premium prices charged due to school holidays. The grounds are nice and spaced out compared to other camp grounds in the area but we’ll be staying somewhere else next time we visit the grampians. The front desk lady is in dire need of a break or career change.

Stayed there for a week. Convenient location. Great facilities for kids entertainment, we stayed in a cabin and was well cleaned and staff there were nice. Definitely recommended.

This park hosted the Big Red Kidney Bus which was a great thing to enable me to holiday & have my treatment. I stayed in the park. Our cabin was more like a motel room which gave me a feeling a little less than what I expected of a camping holiday but the spaciousness was soon got used to!

Excellent holiday park. D at reception was super nice and accommodating, Amenities were clean, etc. it’s approx 20m walk from the center of Halls Gap, I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it.

Located a 5 minutes drive or 15/20 minutes walk into the township, the park is setup as a Family" destination to base exploring the Grampians.The pool is advertised as "heated" but during our visit at Easter only the very brave dared to use. The Heated pool at the Lakeside Holiday Park is a better option in the cooler months.Plenty of on-site activities for the kids with additional activities during the school holidays.On-site coffee van operates daily till 11am and for a holiday destination would have been nice to extend to 1pm for those "enjoying" holidays.Powered site were a comfortable size where you don't feel like you are sleeping with the next caravan."

This is our third year in a row coming here.It is the last time .It would appear times are tuff at the caravan park .Booked in a cabin for 8 nights 3 days later asked for some fresh towels and told normally charge $5.00So then go back in the afternoon to ask again for some fresh towels. Sorry forgot.6 nights in no offer of new bedding yet .Just have to look around to see times are tuff, usually have the fire going in the movie room at night for the kids not any more.Ask for the Bear Grills adventure. Host seemed to be annoyed having to set up for the kids Sorry we will not be back next year.

Lovely caravan park. Nice shaded spot we had with an ensuite. The ensuite needs renovation as old and worn out but clean. Plenty of facilities with pool, tennis courts, jumping pillow, camp kitchen, etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended place to stay whilst in Halls Gap. Short walk to town via a bitumen walking path from the park all the way there.

My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins over Easter and were harrassed by some kids for 2 nights with loud banging on front door that was forceful enough to knock stuff off the wall. We complained to management, but there is not much they could to...which is completely fair. If you are a couple looking for a relaxing stay in Halls Gap perhaps look elsewhere...seems this holiday park is unfortunately frequented by families with unruly kids.
