We came here during the week when the bar had a collab with Valentinas from Sydney so all the food was actually coming from Valentinas. Overall the bar felt very laid back with retro decor and booths along one side of the wall. There is also a free pool table for people to enjoy. The food was good, the Tina Classic is what I imagined to be the classic American breakfast and the patty melt was great too.Food - 8Service - 9Vibe - 8Price - $$

Came here late night during the week, nice selection of beers on tap. Music is a little bit loud for my liking when trying to have a conversation with friends. Had QR code and hand sanitizers out front. Has a good vibe and drinks were reasonably priced.

Lulie is a spacious tavern with interesting decor and a very comfortable ambience. It's a great place to play some pool or catch up with friends. The upstairs bar also has a retractable roof which is perfect for summer afternoons and evenings.

Nice vibes, nice drinks, not overpriced, solid amenities.But one day I'll do d a dj with the guts to play music at a reasonable volume. If there were a dancefloor pumping, deafening music has it's place. But in a room filled with nothing but tables, chairs, and people obviously in conversation, surely your job is to provide a fun ambiance not dominate the sound. I shouldn't have to lose my voice at essentially a cocktail and beer bar.Hey, maybe I'm getting old. But looking around I was on the younger end of the clientele spectrum anyway.

Lulie's Tavern is very quickly becoming one of my favourite (and most suggested) bars on Johnston Street, which is one hell of a feat considering how many top quality drinking establishments are in the area. Great staff, great beer selection, lovely front garden and lots of space.

Fries were like cardboard and way too salty. 3/10Whopper - A bit messy, but not too shabby. For a pub burger, it was alright. 5/10Vegan chicken burger - hard and weird. I understand it’s not real meat, but the chicken was not chewable. Buns were nice and soft and extremely buttery. 2/10
