Tumbling Waters Holiday Park

The best caravan park we've stayed in so far. And we've been on the road exactly 3 months today. We've travelled all along the East Coast, along the Overlander to Kathrine, through Kakadu National Park via Bark Hut Inn to Tumbling Waters. We were welcomed with a friendly smile and told we could choose our own site. The setting of the park including the restaurant is what you imagine the outback in the tropics should be, downright stunning with lots of well placed Palm trees, lots of shrubbery and large sites. The two pools are refreshing after a long trip. The food at the restaurant (we went for dinner) is ample (some will be used for lunch today) and delicious. I had the Thai Beef salad and my husband the Asian NT fish. i am looking forward to attending the outdoor cinema for a movie night tonight and hubby will watch the footy in the air-conditioned purpose built Troppo Space Event Centre. Everyone is catered for. At night we appreciate the quiet and only waking up to bird songs in the morning. Thank Tumbling Waters for this tranquil space in the great outdoors. I've booked another 2 nights to stay with you.

Worse service. Had a bad experience there. The owner is very rude and raises he ruined our holiday mood. The language he used was unacceptable and the trip was ruined because of him! Very disappointing. He was shouting and screaming at us by using bad words just because we were talking, laughing and enjoying our holiday, he said that was noisy.The language he used was unacceptable and the trip was ruined because of him! Very disappointing. according to owner smiling was also not even allowed while he was talking. Not recommended to anyone to ruin their holiday by visiting this place.

I have just been at tumbling water's for a month it's the best place I have stayed bar none, it's a Oasis in the wilderness. Where you can get great food at the restaurant bar top quality good prices, excellent staff working here and the owners are great people. I will be staying there again on my next trip north.

The team especially Jenny were fantastic. What amazing customer service. Really enjoyed my stay after a long day on the bike. Delicious food too!

We have lived in Darwin 8 years and have been to this little gem many times. When we decided to sell our home and leave darwin the best place to finish up the NT was always going to be the tumbling waters caravan park. Down to the accomodating staff and the amazing amenities. Not to mention the daily visits to see the crocs and stunning birds. We stayed in a cabin for 18 days and our family had an absolute ball. The new pool is amazing and the old pool is also perfect to cool down as it’s well shaded on peak times of the day. I will be forever grateful to this place for giving me and my family the best memories to finish up our time in Australia. The food was amazing the outdoor cinema was brilliant, especially for the kids and we had great trips to berry springs nature reserve and tavern. If you are travelling through or just looking for a weekend away it is an absolute must.

So extraordinarily pleased with the level of service!! The owner and staff were so understanding and accommodated for our large group on short notice making our experience incredibly pleasant.They were super friendly and made us feel extremely welcomed. They were also very attentive to the well-being of the guests when dealing with complaints about a rowdy group of campers that were disturbing the families. 10/10 will return and highly recommend it to anyone who is in search for a family friendly campsite that has a range of activities for all ages :)

Beautiful spot. Lovely staff. Great pool, movie night, wonderful restaurant and cocktail bar.

Enjoyed our time at tumbling so much we’ve been back a couple of times says it all. Staff great, location great, campers friendly plus dining and cocktails if thats your thing too.
