Urunga Chainsaw & Mower

Could not speak more highly of this business. The owner very generously donated a $799 mower as a prize in support of our son who has been chosen in an Australian representative squad. They also allowed us to join their stall at the Glenreagh Timber Festival so we could launch our Father's Day guessing competition. The staff were friendly, helpful and very supportive. These guys are awesome, happy to help every time I've been in, quicker than expected turn-around time for repairs I've had done, staff have been very knowledgeable about their products when I've had questions, and very friendly. I travel up from Macksville for their service and I highly recommend you pay them a visit if you're needing repairs done or any mowing/gardening related power equipment. FIVE STARS!!!

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life hands down.!!!!!!!!!!Was told there was nothing that could be done without a proof of purchase for warranty issue when all other dealerships said this is not the case..serial number easily used to find details.Grafton far superior to this dealership with customer service and technology options.

I dropped my ride on mower in for a service and a new belt to operate the blades, I was told about 1 week. 6 Weeks and $500 later I was told the mower was ready, went to pick it up and it took half an hour to get the mower into my vehicle as it kept stalling.I got the mower home and managed to mow the lawns that afternoon, the mower kept losing power and almost stalling. Went back on Monday and told them it wasn't running properly and was told it was because the grass was either too wet or too long. Which it was neither.The next weekend I went to start the mower and it would not turn over at all.Telephoned the business and they did not care at all, just said it was the battery or the solenoid, nothing to do with them. I told them as it's not running I can't move it and they offered no assistance.I would advise anyone against going to this business, they have no concern about the quality of their work.I had to get the mower to another repairer who said the mower wasn't serviced properly, the air filter and fuel filter were filthy, the earth off the battery wasn't connected so it needed a new battery.From my experience with Urunga Mowers I will never go back and will happily advise anyone of my experience and treatment by this business.

Great service, friendly knowledgeable staff that tell you how it is and don't BS you. Ordered in my mower service parts for me, nothing was a problem. Best Mower shop on the Mid North Coast. Highly recommended business, new owner Stuart and staff are doing an awesome job! Thanks team. PS, still loving the Log Splitter I bought from you guys!

Purchased from these guys a Masport battery mower. called them with an issue. Not overly helpful with options,just told to bring the whole thing in even though I told Bernie it was the charger. Took it in to them 1 hr later to be told quite rudely it was not their problem any more as they don't sell Masport now. They sent me away without even offering to have a quick look. Considering there current website mentions clearly they look after the servicing of Masport products and given they told me to come in I would of thought they would help or advise but they made it clear they weren't interested . The shop was empty apart from me so they weren't run off there feet ! .... Obviously real after sales commitment and general being fair dinkum are not on the table here. Better to purchase elsewhere if you want quality after sales.

Anton the engine whisperer" has turned my ten year old Cox ride on mower into a wild brumby... better than original...Thanks to Stewart the new owner... for giving me... a mechanical hopeless...the relief there is a trustworthy local workshop who actually fix things rather than 'just keep them going'.Thanx heaps... five stars."

Really poor customer service!! Very rude approach to customers.Was told a small job would take a week and didn't answer my questions when asking. Took it to the guys in Coffs and they did it on the spot. Took 20 mins and $50.My elderly mother also says she's treated with little respect even after spending a lot of money there.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE! Purchased a brush cutter and several others parts over the last year or so which was fine however when we took our chainsaw in for repair we waited 3 months and still was not repaired. We had to call them to followup with what was happening with it. Each timee we called we were advised that it would just be another week or so. At the 3 month point we were sick of waiting and went to pick it up, on a Saturday, to repair ourselves only to be told they couldn't find it. After 30mins of waiting we were told they would speak to the mechanic on Monday and call us. As we had no communication, except when we called them, over the 3 months they had it we were not leaving without it. We asked them to call the mechanic and finally got it back in pieces. They are happy to sell you things but unfortunately the service side of the business needs some major improvement.

Have had dealings with Urunga Chainsaw and Mower for over 5 years however the quality and service provided by the new proprietors was exceptional.The mechanic who recently serviced my sit down mower rectified and repaired every issue. Could not be happier with the service. Thanks guys , outstanding.
