Parramatta Park

There's a tunnel under the railway line that links Southern Domain to Parramatta Park. You'll find the tunnel located along Park Parade.

There is a lot of construction for the new Aquatic and leisure centre upgrade there are volleyball courts and football field lawns needed mowing.

The Southern Domain of parramatta park offers large open spaces, with clnps of shady trees.It used to be Parramatta Golf Course, however it closed a couple of years ago. And the park trust is still planning what to do.It is perfect for activities requiring space like kicking a ball, having a hit of cricket or flying a drone. Unfortunately for the ball sports the ground is sloped, so more suited to a muck around than a serious match.It is mostly upkept, however sometimes can look quite barren as it is not watered.There use to be a lovely tree swing for a year or two, but it was removed (partially) by park rangers for fears it might damage the tree. It's skeletal rope remains can be seen still dangling on the tree, though no more fun is to be had for the kids.There are no amenities and parking is only available in nearby streets
