2 spearate journeys on sunday night in Salamander/Nelson Bay Both drivers very hospitable & pleasant. Wondrful experience coming from Sydney & used to city experiences. Recommend very highly

Great service, very good vehicles, kind and attentive drivers. They have been providing exceptional service to an elderly friend of mine for years and I've experienced their good service first hand recently.

Booked a taxi at 4:40pm for 6:00, for a restraunt booking at 6:30, after waiting until 18 minutes past 6:00, they replied we are busy it will be another 10 minutes, which would of made us late for our reservation, this is off peak season, so whats the deal.We ended up driving in our selve's, bad service.

Consistently use their service and they are significantly better than other local companies.Easy to deal with on the phone.Drivers are great.I wish they would set up a reliable, functioning app. That would make booking easier for those of us who work odd hours.This lack of an app is why it isn’t a 5 star review.

I've used diggers Maitland for awhile now and regularly. They are professional honest and consistent. All drivers are gr8 tho I have a few favourites. Dispatch are always helpful and friendly too.

This is for Nelson Bay service - made a booking at 1230 during the day for.a pick up at a restaurant for 10 people that night. Rang up at 1120pm on behalf of the 10 people standing in the rain in front of a resturant for an update of how long it may be, was told was 2km away. After another 10min rang again to make sure had provided the right address as still had not showed or received 5min SMS warning. Another group of people was standing with us who only just rang a cab and it arrived within 10min. Ask the driver if he had any idea when our taxi may arrive that was booked nearly 12hrs ahead of time and would not give me the time of day and said he could not help. He just had to check on the radio or phone but did not provide that simple courtesy. After another two phone calls it arrived almost 1 hr after the booking time, funnily the same driver that picked up the previous customers who did not have a booking.. I understand Nelson Bay can get real busy in the off season to look after the two potential venues that may still be open at that time of night, but when you have a booked taxi you have one job to make sure you meet that time, if not, have the very basic courtesy/professionalism to call and let the customer know that the service they booked and relying on to get 10 people home safely is late or just not available. This is not a one of occurrence unfortunately, this last event has just tipped me over the edge. The poor service that is provided in the Nelson Bay Area has a direct effect on local business, many locals will not go out to the the local restaurants/businesses on the weekend fully knowing that it is very difficult to get a service in a respectable time to get home. Many restaurants will no longer ring a taxi on behalf of their customers because they don't have the time to be asked continuously if they know when it may arrived they just give you the number to ring. I just want to caveat this with, this is not directed to the poor drivers that probably cop all the abuse, this is at the general management of this business that let this occur on a regular occurrence.

Not a great start, 1st time i used them, cab did not show up at arranged time. Called them it arrived 15min late after 2 taxis drove past me.

I called, requested a taxi perfectly politely and fine, and the call was simply ended on purpose. Suddenly, (on my second call), it said they are not available 24/7 as they did quote online. Despite the fact someone had spoken to me on the phone just then. Rubbish. Zero stars, actually. Thanks for nothing, for the discrimination. For no reason whatsoever. Great! Lucky another company helped instantly. 5 stars from me. For your competitors that is. Perhaps one star for you, for the initial couple seconds of fake friendliness.

Man on the phone was polite, however requested port Stevens area, living in Raymond terrace and not having a taxi is pretty poor, considering I see them travel passed the area daily.
