I live in Killcare NSW 200m from the Bouddi National park. Today I found a snake in my veggie patch and I had no idea what snake this one was and whether it was venomous or not. Luckily I searched the Internet and found the Snake Catchers in Brisbane who after contacting them within minutes they gave me an answer and the reassurance the snake was harmless. It was identified as a diamond python. Thank you Snake Catchers!!!!

Was relieved that this colourful snake is a harmless python. Thanks for the prompt reply. It was almost dark and I was about to walk out across drive but spotted it stretched out in front of me. Sometimes I have had things slap against my trousers when walking in the dark across lawn.
