Loving new home!Time to now relax after a long process in town planning, Sperway Homes remained proactive throughout and kept up with frequent and timely updates. Good quality fixtures. Very happy with their service, to consider again to build with Sperway Homes.

Not a happy story to build with Sperway Homes, so much headaches. Knocked down my old house and built by Sperway Homes took over 400 days. So many problems found after the handover. Power point been installed behind a drawer; laundry stone bench top is 2 cm shorter than suppose to be, can’t fix a standard laundry machine; air conditioner not working when my family moved in the very hot summer; water drain blockage; wall cracks; rendering has been done properly; missing bricks; wooden door step hasn’t been painted; brick wall expansion joint hasn’t been caulked; brick wall top has not been flashed; shower water leaking etc. Moved into my new house built by Sperway homes 2 years ago, been contacting Sperway Homes about doing the “maintenance job” in my home so many times after problems have been discovered. Especially the water leaking in my mater bed found over a year now, Sperway Homes sent people over to fix the water leaking three times already over a year time, still haven’t got the shower leaking fixed. Really disappointed about the company, two suggestions for the people who wants to build their dream homes: First, get a building inspector to follow up the building process. Second, choose someone else over Sperway Homes, save your time, money and headaches.

heading to VCAT - 20 months since handover,,,our patience is exhausted, we have been very patient and fair..if you are currently building with Sperway, my best advice is to pay for an inspection report prior to last payment and handover. Our outstanding repairs include:- air pockets under parquetry flooring- very loud creaks throughout top floor- carpet has not been laid correctly on top floor- garage water leaks with plaster cracking - Sperway refusing to pay for repairs which i paid for myself- water leaks in windows - our drapes got saturated, no sign of compensation there either- water plaster cracks on ceiling of top floorThey want their milestone payments as quickly as possible, but delay their after service repairs for as long as possibleUpdate:- contacted by Pseudo Maintenance team, provided full list of defaults, still heard nothing..no follow up, no acknowledgement.Disregard Sperway`s marketing comments below about not being aware of the defaults and following up with customer...all lies!!

Many thanks to the staff at Sperway Homes for achieving a great result in the building of my three townhouses. Not only did Sperway Homes build within the contract days, the construction team always helped whenever I had a query and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend Sperway Homes for anyone who is looking to build on a sloping block

Overall quality and workmanship was very average. Definitely do not get the “feel for the superior quality” as per their luxury display home.-Rangehood was being vented into the roof space as they did not tape/seal the tubing to the external vent-entire kitchen/laundry sinks needed to be removed and reinstalled properly(plumber did not bother installing flush mount as per spec. We can see where leverage was used to remove the sinks resulting in the stone benchtop being chipped-Staircase was NOT covered after staining/painting. Many deep scratches, dents and one section the wood had even splintered-2 mirrored sliding wardrobe doors slide away/reopen on its own once closed. Masking tape was left on the handles and after requesting it be removed sticky residue was then left behind. On one handle something abrasive was used to remove the residue resulting in the polished handle being scuffed up and even part of the mirrored door was scratched!-Upstairs, the flooring under the carpet was not properly secured in a couple of locations which results in loud clicks/movement when walking over those sections-under sink plumping cut outs required two attempts. So now there are extra holes/cut outs" simply covered over with tape. Same with the alarm box-alarm sensors placed just on top or to the side of the door architrave instead of in the corner of the ceiling(also beige coloured instead of white)-forgot to install the remote temperature sensor downstairs. Sperway Homes is our favorite construction company. In 2015, we planned to build our own House. We visited several famous building companies and their showrooms. After touching and comparing with them, we finally chose Sperway Homes. This is because Sperway Homes has a professional management, design, and construction team. The most important is that there are professional customer service personnel who can communicate with customers anytime, anywhere, and solve customer problems and difficulties better. Finally, we are satisfied with the overall quality of our new House.

We had our dream home built by Sperway Homes and we had a great experience with them. We started with Angela Wei and were deeply impressed by her design concepts and passions. We had a very good site manager Justin who is professional, efficient and very attentive to details. The after handover maintenance was somehow delayed. However, as soon as Dani Colombara took over, all maintenance jobs were followed up in a very timely manner and well organised. She followed up every week with an update until all jobs were completed to our satisfactions.Good company with a great team!

We are doing a knockdown and rebuild with Sperway Homes. The design & consultation process was excellent. Thank you to Angela and Ashley. The drafting & colour selection team were also very helpful. It has been a very long process with planning and getting approvals from authorities. We are looking forward to the building stage.

Have build 2 houses with them and now building a 3rd house. Found Sperway Homes to be a professional builder with good workmanship. Good management team behind the company. Rest of the sales and support team and Site Supervisor are good to deal with. Would not hesitate to recommend Sperway Homes if you are looking for a custom builder.

Over the past 5 years since construction, most of the 14 townhouses at ‘Sperway Manors’ have had many issues, which have soured the whole experience, especially as the townhouses were advertised as having “style, quality, and luxury”.Poor workmanship, shoddy finishes and fixes, and a lack of attention to detail in properly finishing have been seen on most units. Many shortcuts were taken, sacrificing quality for speed. Cheap and nasty building materials/installation were often used externally (painting, garden, pathways, fences, roofs, driveways). Specifications were not followed in many cases.Lack of testing/certification has meant many problems arose for most of us, including faulty appliances, air conditioning/heating (repeated failures), hot water heating, dishwashers, and range hoods. Most of us have had serious rain water leaks (caused by damaged or poorly installed decking roofs and roof flashings), causing extensive damage to drywalls, architraves, ceilings, carpets, and paintwork. There has been external painting peeling off revealing raw wood, exterior architectural mouldings moving apart leaving gaps, and in some instances lifting off.Blocked sewers and stormwater drains blocked by building construction rubbish were also encountered.Perhaps the most disappointing aspects have been the vendor’s lack of acknowledgement of the issues, tardiness in addressing issues, and in some cases the absence of any remedial actions/works.We are still waiting for some repairs to be done.It is also noted that there a number of ‘fake’ or ‘dummy’ reviews on this review site, presumably designed to increase the overall rating, but they do not seem to reflect any actual builds.
