Ideally located in Union Rd Ascot Vale, this Fish and Chippery offers a good variety of Take away food.The Flakes are good sized and the Chips are pretty good and tasty.

Not all too happy with this place. Small in & out joint that feels very outdated. Cash only, with very disappointing food. Chips were dreadful, Fish dry and tasteless, with cooking varying from under to over. Way too much salt, and gravy had no flavour.I don't like to give bad reviews, but there are much better places to spend your money. However staff were friendly and helpful, so very well could just be poor management and lack of training.

Standard fare. Nothing stands out here. The potato cakes were too thin and overcooked. There was a card surcharge of 50 cents for an $11 order. Do banks really slug shop owners that much per transaction?In a competitive food environment everyone needs to be on top of their game. Here’s my free advice for you guys for today:- create an experience for the customer. Work out how you will do it. Include manners and quality food while giving the customer the impression they need to come back. Repeat business is key. If you do this the money will take care of itself. If you put earning the money as a first, it will happen lastYou are in a blue chip area with a solid customer base. You can do this! Lift your game - take the challenge!

I am not a person that usually do reviews but I do if I believe others health and safety can be at risk. I ordered chips yesterday and confirmed prior to ensure it was cooked in vegetable oil. As I arrived home I could clearly smell it was pork fat and gave a call again to confirm if they lied. All they replied was oh yes sorry I just work here

Great chippies, crunchy and packed with salt. South Melbourne dim sim was delicious and calamari. Potato cakes were small and grilled fish had the wrong batter but was still tasty.

I just want to tell you that we ordered fish & chips from you last night. The food was disgusting. The grilled fish was coated with a batter which was soggy and inedible. We asked for the chips to be crunchy, they were far from it. The potato cakes and dim sims were ok.Overall sickening and definitely the last time any of our family will buy from you.
