IGA Point Cook

Every time this place does an order via Uber eats they are out of stock of the most basic items. Not disability accessible. Strongly recommend against buying here.

Rather than calling and notifying us there were out of stock items, the just removed the items and sent one item.When I called them after it arrived, they said they could have just cancelled the order but chose to send 1 item… they also said they could not substitute the items for other items of exactly the same thing from another brand.Complete and Utter Joke.

The worst iga in Melbourne. Food is almost at it’s due by date, they’re rude and the Uber eats service from them is appalling. They take for ever and charge you for items you don’t receive

Disappointed tonight.. not even 9.15pm and I am advised that i cant get fresh meat because the machine has been washed down and everything else had been packed up and put away. The kind staff member who had parked himself seated on the deli food counter said to check the fridges for alternatives. If you are open to 10pm surely you would either have some meat cut or have some means of offering these items.. even a knife to slice some up? available until the time the shop shuts. Then to top it off my goods were all run through the register and left in a heap on the counter.. no bag was offered (yes i am aware they charge you 15 cents for them)... the lady just looked at me.. I asked if it was possible to get a back.. due to the volume of goods i said i would be happy to pay for a 2nd bag without getting one and ended up carrying some gods loosely from the store.... poor experience and very ordinary customer service.

The service used to be reasonably good here. But recently, after a change in ownership, it's become pretty dismal. Staff feel unwelcoming and very disengaged.

I have been there yesterday to purchase some things and Very rude customer service. Staff needs to be trained. Extremely disappointed with the service. Previous management was very good.

Not sure what has happened to the service in this IGA, but its rapidly gone downhill. I live locally and it used to have friendly and helpful people working there. Today, I went in because I needed a couple of things and the male worker was absolutely rude. Just about bowled me over rushimg down the aisle looking at his device, no sorry or excuse me, just pushes me out the way. Then there was no ome on checkout. I waited a few minutes before the same rude guy slowly comes to the checkout (funny how he was in such a rush to leave it, not so much to return). I have had bad experiences for the last week...before that it was great. Maybe a new manager who doesnt care?

Some good deals if you look out for them. However have found some products are very close to their expiry

Specials never scan correctly and make it hassle to rectify and then still don’t give the special. Closed tonight at 9.49 as I’m waving to get in, they just point at the register and wave me away at a 10pm closure. So sick of being ripped off on IGA specials that always scan as regular price. I was always in preference of supporting locally owned but if they price gouge the people paying their bills they need to be held accountable. Zero stars ⭐️
