Wax Monkey Belconnen

Been going here since i first had my legs waxed and service has always been good. But they changed their wax recently and I wasn't notified of this change and I ended up with a huge allergic reaction that has been torturous. Poor communication by the staff

Dear Sir/MadamChelsea was not at all cooperative.My wife is a regular customer at monkey wax and she went there yesterday on 27/07/21 for 3pm appointment and was late by 10 min. She clearly asked Chelsea if she can't fit her in because she was late she can rebook and come another day.She confirmed it's alrite and she can complete the Job and took her in.As soon as she went in the bench where she was lying down was not setup properly by Chelsea and my wife almost had a fall but luckily managed to balance herself (shes 36 weeks pregnant ) and she did not wax properly just because she's pregnant and cudnt see Chelsea's slack job she did . After she came home she realised she was not properly waxed and Chelsea rushed her out in 15 minutes saying because she was late where as she confirmed with her before she started the waxing that she has enough time to do the complete wax package we paid for.It was a horrible experience with Chelsea and we will never go back to monkey wax again . We were a regular customer from past 3 years and they lost because of this horrible Chelsea .Because of the accident that I had I'm so stressed out that my baby may be hurt inside the tummy.Note to management of Monkey wax: Staff like Chelsea should be given appropriate feedback and they shud be trained on how to deal with pregnant customers and more importantly train them about there safety.

The staff and service here are both excellent! I have very sensitive skin, so the girl at reception talked me through products and processes to manage my skin and made sure to let my waxer to know as well. Very positive experience at an extremely reasonable price

I’ve just had my first (waxing) appointment with Wax Monkey and Breanna was sooooo lovely. Her style was welcoming and she answered all of my (possibly annoying) questions. She was very fast and professional. I’d highly recommend.

Excellent service and good pricing. The staff are always friendly. They keep you aware of everything going on and offer easy to understand after care advice. The layout and decoration in-store is fun and unique.I appreciate the easy to use online booking system (and website generally) and reminder message sent the day before.

Both Jess and Chelsea were amazing! Jess did the most spectacular job on my eyebrows, the best I’ve ever had. Chelsea was so accommodating with my tan. Such great service overall. Thank you so much!

These guys are amazing. Last time I went, I had been rejected from another salon for turning up with a baby. Wax monkey not only fitted me in that day but offered to mind bub while I was there. This time, I had had a rough day and they did such a good job and were so kind that I cried. Fantastic at what they do and the loveliest people. Cannot rate highly enough.

Great location, friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere!Located on Emu Bank Drive, Wax Monkey has a great location. The parking was super easy, although during the weekdays you will likely need to use a paid parking space. Access is quite easy for anyone using a wheel chair. There are plenty of fast food options near by and also a local pub. I don’t think there are any public toilets nearby.The staff were wonderful. Being a first time client they were patient, friendly and very professional. The whole process was explained to me very well and part of the job was delayed to a different day to ensure that the best results could occur. I love that they prioritized me getting the best outcome over getting paid that day. I had no concerns at any point, which was great.Wax Monkey has some seriously awesome atmosphere as well. The rooms are very private, and have a real quality feeling to them.

The beauticians are always professional and do a great job. Every thing is done hygienically and the service is always efficient. I have been over 10 times by now and I have been happy the the result every time.

The ladies at the front desk were lovely. I adore the design of the interior and the 'pin up' style of the artworks inside, it really creates a great energy in the building. Sarah gave me an eyebrow wax and tint and I couldn't be happier! All staff were so sweet and professional, and if I didn't live in Sydney I definitely would be back! :)
