My wife and I went there two nights in a row on Mon & Tues (17 & 18 April). The staff were friendly and the meals great and reasonably priced. They took a little while to arrive but we were advised this would be the case when we ordered. Nothing to dislike.

Good steak average frozen veggies bit overpriced for what you get and the outside is in need of a big clean and wash an average pub that could be a great pub with a little bit of effort

Worst place in the whole world, not just Australia but the world. Only staff I talked to was a child who couldn’t even take our order without my help as there were no adults besides the chef who just stood there and didn’t even help him. All the meat and chicken was way overcooked and tough. Very hard to eat. The salad and chips were nice though. I asked for a jug of gravy on the side with our lamb incase we didn’t like the sauce but got no sauce and just the gravy. The beef burger and garlic bread was burnt but at least the milkshake was yummy. Save your money and taste buds and go elsewhere. I certainly will never be back.

6 of us had a meal at the Royal hotel a week ago, they were the worst tastless meals we have had. The chips were cold and had been sitting there for ages, the vegies were tastless.What a waste of money, never again. So if you want a nice meal avoid the Royal Hotel in Kerang.

Meal terrible. The meals were sitting in the Bain Marie and the cook was standing in the kitchen on her phone!! We had waited over 40 minutes and we were the only 2 in the dining room! Had mentioned when ordering that we had to get to an appointment (and can’t eat for 2hrs after)…eventually walked up and asked for them to be put in take away containers.

Had lovely. Perfectly cooked creamy sauce prawns. Good sz on nice cooked rice. Also good sz serve of vege lasagne, delicious flavour. Chips bit done but beaut salad. Beaut decor with lots of original glass doors and amazing pressed tin roof. Well worth a stop for a good feed, or ale or wines. Royal it is country style.

Welcoming and friendly. Would recommend to dine and eat here. Food is reasonably priced, a cut above the average pub meals on offer. All people are welcome. Rudeness is not tolerated.

Visited the Royal Hotel Cafe for lunch meals were nice and very big serves however service was slow, not sure how many cooks/chefs they have.

Our meals were ok. My steak was cooked nice but the plate filled with blood when I cut into it as it hasn’t been rested. Basic type food and friendly service but nothing I would go back for.

Really enjoyed my parma here. The eating area was great, nice and cool in a larger room. Looks like there sre eating/drinking area's outside and under shade. Would highly recommend for a meal and a relaxing beer.Found only that beers were a bit expensive for standsrd beers, but that could be the norm for a country pub, as im from a city area which can have craft beers around the same price as i paid here for a great northen.
