Got a nice range but the customer service was dreadful. I needed my necklace fixed and it was only the chain. I had care/warranty package but they wanted to charge us for for the chain to be fixed despite it being covered by warranty. We showed the lady on the paper that it was covered and she rolled her eyes. I’m sure not all of Michael hill stores are like this.

The shop assistants are snotty and rude. I was in the middle of a purchase and ended up walking out as I couldn't stand their attitudes. How can such unpleasant people be employed in customer service?

Workers were rude and lied to try make a sale. I said I’d have a look at other stores and come back in a bit and was told that the store shuts in 5 minutes at 2pm. I came back at 4pm and the store was still open. The lady was also very rude and tried to tell me that I won’t get this offer on a earring tomorrow when she had just simply read the price tag off the label. In the end I wanted to buy that earring however refused and bought from elsewhere just because the service was so deceiving

Like other reviews, there are two particular late/middle aged women with dark hair who are rude and make an experience here particularly uncomfortable. With the eye-rolling and back handed insults about your partners choice when you don’t chose the most expensive jewellery they present to you (because it means they won’t get the commission), we had to come back twice to be served by someone else as we refused to deal with them. Eileen is the only saving grace at this store. She was lovely, took the time to explain everything and took an uncomfortable experience with the others and made our engagement experience what you’d hope for this once in a life time event.However overall, would not be back to this store, based on the negative interactions here.

Came into the Miranda store today with a girlfriend and Joanie provided the most lovely customer service. She was patient, friendly and made such an effort to make it a positive experience.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience I had with Michael Hill Miranda. I recently purchased a bracelet from one of your stores, however, after only two weeks of wearing it, the bracelet broke. When I went to the store to return it, I was met with extremely poor customer service and was not initially offered a refund.After seeking the advice of a jeweler, it was confirmed that the bracelet was a faulty product. Despite this, it took three visits to your store and the need to speak with a store manager to finally receive a refund.This experience has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I expect better treatment from a company like Michael Hill and I am disappointed that it took multiple visits and a manager's intervention to resolve the issue.

so rude !i went in on saturday to ask for some help and got told from the staff member “ i was going to purchase these earrings for myself but since you need my help i guess i just have to wait”i honestly think this is completely unacceptable!!!the entire time she made me feel like a burden asking for help.i can see why the reviews are so low !
