Last year, we tried to book this business for our school Fete. We made the booking, and on short notice they cancelled our booking.We were told that they had accidentally double booked themselves, but it soon became apparent that this was not the case, they had accepted a last minute request from another school Fete being held in Wagga and dumped our booking in favour of not having to travel (which WE pay more for - the downside of being 'out of town').Despite being treated in this way, I stupidly made the decision to try this business again this year, as our Fete needed attractions especially for the small children, which they can provide in the way of Mickey Park. I booked in writing, six months in advance. I received a reply immediately, in writing outlining a quote and offering even more services. I accepted the quote.Two weeks prior to our event, I confirmed over the phone with the owner/operator that our booking was still good, and that he would email me their insurance certificate.That email didn't arrive, and for the last week I have attempted to contact them over and over again with not one call or email answered.While I do need to take responsibility for the decision to re book this business after such a terrible first impression, I won't miss the opportunity to warn other potential customers of the terrible business practices and customer services that are in place here.The night before our Fete, thankfully we were able to lean on our tried and trusted provider who helped us as best as possible.Despite that, there was still no contact from this business to say that they were not attending.Half way through our Fete, we received an email to say that they would be unable to attend due to a family emergency, written as though they were emailing several hours earlier.What an outright lie, when we can clearly see online that this businesses' attractions were in place at other events in Wagga.Once again, dumped for a local event.Is money from outside Wagga not good enough for this business?It has been made known to us that this business got themselves this booking for that event in Wagga around two weeks ago. The same time that I last spoke to them.If this is the case, another email to say they were unavailable at that time would have saved us an immeasurable amount of stress at the last minute, and a potential double booking had they actually shown up.When I called them out on these lies, I was again given the line about a family emergency and how family comes first. I don't need that lie/lecture - we know it better than anyone - who organizes a school Fete for any other reason than their children?Have a heart guys and just operate your business honestly, and if you don't want to operate outside of Wagga or whatever, then don't take the bookings or say you're available.Have a heart and don't treat people who are volunteering for their families and community groups in this way.I would warn everyone to book this business at your own risk. I know I won't make this mistake a third time.
