APM Employment Services - Redfern

the staff there dont even know what they doing, i literally have to step in to help them. also the person that was appointed to help me quit the job 2 weeks after our first meeting and i didnt even know lol.

AVOID! This place is so unprofessional and truly useless to job seekers. From the cliched photocopied bumper sticker wisdom on the wall about how you can fix a broken life with an attitude adjustment. Then we have the jaded employees, a rude Asian couple and the complete lack of privacy due to the miniscule office space. Literally, two women share a desk and accommodate the clients right next to each other with a blaring radio between them. Too bad if you're in crisis, in a situation you'd rather the people on computers a metre away not hear. Horrible unprofessional place. Just assuming all unemployed especially indigenous Redfern residents are not serious about gainful employment opportunities. Hot take: some of is want assistance with finding us actual jobs not just being fed into pointless programmes that are effectively useless. The employees there looked like decades long Centrelink recipients themselves. They don't even dress like they're going to work. Leggings and thongs? For real? I've seen local junkies more put together.

APM Redfern has been extremely short and rude to me during their services to me. Wasn’t acknowledged at all when I walked in, and the appointments I had were useless and short, asking me to come back with more information later.Tried calling them multiple times to get the answering machine and when I did get through, Billy, one of the employees, was once again very short and wouldn’t listen to anything I had to say, stating he was “busy” (Very unlike when I came in for my first appointment when there was no one in there)The room was cluttered and unorganised and there only seemed to be one person working, and another person playing games on the computer.I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This place is a joke, signed up with APM hoping they would help me find a job as I am new to The Sydney Area, after 2 months they had not contacted me at all, I called them 3 times to assure them I wanted a job please could they help me to find one, they asked me the same questions every time I called; what work are you looking for, what hours are you interested in working, previous job history etc; as if they didn’t even know who I was!Then an apt was assigned to me via the phone, no one called, so 20 mins after apt was meant to have started I called them, where it rung out twice and went to msg bank.... I have left a msg, see if they bother to call me back.

I am client with APM , my consultant michalle an indian lady is one of best person i have ever met. She is very helpful and kind person.If you go to APM Office, always ask for michalle , she gave me very useful tips to find job.
