On my way home from a day trip to Mt Field my car started making the most horrific screeching noise. I called Glen at New Town (Tas) the next morning and he booked her in immediately, found the problem and when I picked her up the same day - my 20 year old car was driving so smoothly that we glided home. A couple of weeks later I noticed a bit of squeaking so I took her back and they confirmed that everything was mechanically sound - but that weird little noise was still there so they went forensic and tracked it down to a random leaky hose. Amazing job, great service - I'm so grateful and have full confidence that my car can easily tackle any mountain.

Got my tyres changed and a wheel alignment done. The alignment was not done right. I'm no car expert but the alignment was just slightly off (I wasn't able to realise it) but over the course of 2 months it aggravated. When I spoke to the bloke there he refused to fix it cos it was too late". When I spoke to Bob Jane later I was told Bob Jane follows up after 3 months and fix problems if it was reasonable.Update:I got a call back a few hours later and was asked to come in. The alignment was fixed

Great service. Very friendly and informative. Didn’t treat me like I’m stupid like other mechanics do when they see I am a young woman. Sped up service for me when I said I was with my 7 month old son. Reasonably priced.
