Star Car Wash - Chermside

We were a little bit concerned about trying these guys out given some of the reviews, but they are in a really convenient location, so thought we should at least give it a try, and we are so glad we did!We prepaid on the website for the Star Polish ($79) and when we arrived, the lady who greeted us recommended a detailing interior vacuuum ($35) since we had just been to the bush and had a lot of sand everywhere. Took about 1.5 hours and she was SO CLEAN! She was super shiny, interior had been wiped completely, all the sand and debris caught in the carpet had been cleaned up and the windows were spotless. We even had some really sticky glue residue on the driver side window that they cleaned off. Honestly couldn't have been happier and all for a really good price too. We'll definitely be using them again ^-^

My sister referred me to you and I’m so glad she did. I’m so happy with the results of my car wash. You do such a great job. I will say though my front dash cam was knocked off its mount and left hanging by the electrical cords. No damage… I just struggled to get it back on. I just wished someone had mentioned it…

Visited this place on a Sunday and got straight in - the lady at the front was so friendly and my car looked brand new!! (Mudflaps were still a bit dirty but still good) - $85 inside and out for a triton with a canopy and rooftop!! Took around 1.5 hours

Had a Star Polish service today ($79) for my Hyundai Accent hatchback. When I dropped the car off the attendant seemed uninterested in dealing with me, seeming bored and uncaring about his job. When I returned to pick up the vehicle I was seen by 3 staff members but was not provided any customer service for almost 5mins, which was frustrating as I was on a deadline.After paying and leaving to drive home I began noticing issues with the interior detailing. There was clearly sections that hadn't been dusted properly (mainly the dashboard), there remained some coffee stains in the cupholder and from the driverside view I was unimpressed with the clean. Both front door armrests where the electric windows buttons were still dirty and inside door jams also.When I was able to inspect the car more thoroughly I noticed that the vacuuming was incomplete at the drivers seat, there was similar issue for the passenger and the boot was completely untouched, still showing hair and fluff from a dog that had been in the boot months prior. There was a yellow spot stain on the inside passenger window, ripped up tissue on the back seat and dirt on the back seat backrest where the baby car seat had been (we removed the baby seat prior to arriving at the car wash so that it could be properly cleaned).Overall the inattentive customer service from the staff on site combined with the lack of attention to detail or even completing the job that was paid for makes me wish I had the time to request another clean on the spot. When reviewing the online reviews for the Chermside store I was unsurprised by the score.In short I paid money for a service that was barely provided. I would like a refund.

Never been a customer of this place but I can sure tell you that just by walking by this place in the carpark that the guys cleaning" the cars don't know how to clean themselves. The BO smell is so strong that I can smell them downwind. Not sure if your car would be that clean after leaving your car here. Just a thought."

I dropped my car into star and told them I would be back in 3.5 hours as I work in the centre. They assured me it would be ready before that. When I arrived back, my car was far from finished. I asked when it would be ready as I did not want to pay for parking (as they don’t cover). He said another 30 mins (had to pay $10 for parking) which obviously meant hey left my car til the last moment. The inside of my car looked cleaner but definitely not worth the $150 I paid as there were so many missed spots and first marks still and the boot didn’t even look touched. Considering I paid for interior vacuuming, there was still so much dirt in the boot and the stuff I had in my boot didn’t seem like it had been moved at all just cleaned around. Once finished, someone just gave me my car keys and ran off. Not friendly at all. I would only go back for a quick wash of the outside.

I typically bring my car to their Springfield location and have never encountered any issues. However, today I had my car washed at their Chermside store and discovered multiple areas that remained untouched.As a regular monthly customer who only requires a basic cleaning, the task should have been relatively straightforward. Nevertheless, they overlooked several areas.Regrettably, I will not be patronizing this establishment again. It is unfortunate as their subpar service reflects poorly on the franchise's reputation.

It was a very quick service. There were some very small bits not cleaned like in the window controls but compared to how much dog hair and dirt there was on the inside and outside I was very happy. There was also no judgement on the state of my car when I arrived and everyone was very happy and welcoming.

This was a really disappointing experience and did not meet my expectations. I paid for the Polish - Deluxe vehicle package" $79 booked online. I did not receive what I paid for.- I dropped my car off at 11:30am (which is the time I had booked)- I was told it would take 1-2hrs and to be back at 1:15pm- I arrived back at 1:30pm and it was not washed
