Very poor service managing our rental property over a period of years forced us to change agents. After changing they got sulky and refused to provide missing and an annual statements unless we paid an additional $220. Outrageous for something that should be provided as a matter of course. New agent has lower fees and much more professional/attentive. It is not hard to do better than Walshe and Whitelock, suggest you find someone else to manage your property.Livia & John Chambers

Incredibly unprofessional, expect everything from long waits to straight up gaslighting from these agents.Had a very stressful experience overall, would never rent with them again. The behavior of Matt and the team was unacceptable, and I urge others to look elsewhere for a better real estate agent who actually cares about their tenants' wellbeing.

This is my second time renting through Walshe and Whitelock and they are still the best real estate agency in Melbourne without a doubt. As a tenant, I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by this real estate agency and I feel compelled to share my negative experience on Google reviews. When I first saw the numerous negative reviews, I didn't take them seriously, but now that my lease is about to end, I realize that those reviews were not unfounded.Throughout my tenancy, I have never met the property manager in charge, nor have I had any communication with them. I had no idea who I was dealing with, which is extremely unprofessional. To make matters worse, I was never notified of important information related to my lease. I had to call and follow up on every single detail, which is not acceptable. In my ten years of renting in Melbourne, I have never encountered a real estate agency that operates in such a manner.Furthermore, when I inquired about the possibility of ending my lease early, despite providing the required 28 days notice, I was met with the same response every time. I was told that I would need to pay an additional 28 days of rent, without any consideration for my circumstances. It seems like this agency only cares about money, and not about the feelings or situations of their clients.Overall, I strongly advise against using this real estate agency and recommend that you take these negative reviews seriously before deciding to engage with them. Their lack of professionalism and consideration for their clients is simply unacceptable.

I have been using their service for more than a year. The professional people here are always eager to help their clients. I had no issues that were not solved within a day or two. I highly recommend this real-estate agent.

I've dealt with W & W over the past 30 years as a renter, home buyer and now as a property agent, and have always been looked after well. Although the team has changed over the years, the family business feeling has not. Part of the Brunswick landscape!Can only speak for our experience, but we have always had requests from the (fantastic tenants - found by W & W) passed on quickly, W & W have found reliable and reasonably priced tradies for us, (which has been a relief) and generally have had a smooth experience. As with all of life, there's an occasional hiccup, but I would not hesitate to recommend W & W.
