Absolutely amazing place, the service, atmosphere and food was great. We chose the booth section and it still felt very private. They have a $80 min spend for the table which is very easily reached with 3-4 people.Food surprisingly was very well made and presented beautifully. My reason for a deduction in 1 star was the price vs portion amount for the food and variety. 100% if the food portion was better its a very easy 5+ stars.Next time i would go after having a meal elsewhere and coming here with the expectation to just have small snacks and drinks.

ESC is a fun place for dining for the young at heart. The food itself is good and they put in effort for the plating to make up for the premium price of the dishes. Bookings need to be made in advance, especially if you want to have a themed room. The Ghibli room is beautifully decorated but each room is only separated by a thin wall and a door hanging cloth so you can hear all the shouting and excitement happening in the next room. Kids were super engrossed in the gaming options available that they don’t really care about the decor, more for the adults’ enjoyment. You get 2 hours in the room which goes by pretty quickly when you’re having fun!

First time going to a gaming restaurant and I had a blast. Such a great setup with dual TVs, fully loaded consoles and really comfy seats you can almost lay down on. The decor was unreal, from the anime and gaming themed booths, to the menus, and even the bathroom was fun and quirky experience. Both the food and drinks were fantastic, they looked great and tasted even better! The staff were super friendly and even showed us around the themed rooms upstairs. Such an awesome joint, will definitely be coming back.

Each of the booths had stunning decor, and access to a wide variety of games and music on the arcade machine jukebox". Drinks menu felt a bit limited

I'm definitely delighted to find a gaming restaurant in Chatswood. You could tell that a lot of effort was placed into decorating each themed room with anime figurines, posters, toys, game consoles and furnitures (comfy seats!).There were also an assorted of games to choose from. The kids had such a fabulous time!Friendly staffs, excellent service and the food were beautifully presented & of high quality.

We reserved 3 rooms for my daughter birthdays party, all the kids and moms enjoyed the time being. Food might be a little expensive but still worth it. Very interesting restroom! This place is perfect for young adults and gamers!

The place was very nicely decorated with anime and game toys etc. The bathroom was also quite interesting especially the tap. The toilet was a bidet and automatically flushes too. We got a booth for 2 people but it can also fit 4 people comfortably. The food tasted nice but was a bit pricey and could have had more variety. My cocktail didnt come with the anime toy as advertised on the menu though =/. They also had a variety of beers not available elsewhere. The way the food came was very cool, there's a train that slides into our booth with the food and then leave after you take the food off.We tried out various games like duelling with Smash Brothers, Pokemon, Mortal combat, then played Bomberman and eventually stayed with Moving Out which was a bit like Overcooked (didnt pick that). We weren't that interested in the duelling, Fifa or Call of Duty. There wasn't as much games as we expected but if you stick to 1 or 2 you like that's enough for the given time (2hrs).It's good that there's an option to watch Netflix instead which is good for dates as some people might not like games. They had said they can put a candle on my dessert as it was for a birthday but ran outta candles on the day even when i reminded them before we came. They did ask if i wanted them to go woolies to get one but only after i messaged them there's no candle when my dessert came... by then it was too late. They did come to apologise and offered a polaroid photo and allowed us to take it in any of the rooms upstairs =).Staff was friendly.Next time we'd probably try the room with the arcade machine with more people.

Not quite the experience I expected here. Came here with some friends as we heard the reviews were good and seen this place everywhere on social media. We spent over $120 here to eat mediocre food and played games we could play at home. The 'rooms' are not really rooms they are more like booths in the upstairs. They also only give us 2hrs, the room had minimal aircon, it was very hot. The room next door was also very loud, the acoustics were not well and the rooms did not have doors. The food quality was not great, the sushi was not really fresh. The only thing my friends and I agreed that was slightly better was the prawn sashimi. We had to go to Maccas afterwards in order to really get full. Portions were not that big too.Overall, its a one-time place only, probably wont come back again.

The concept of ESC Gaming Restaurant is a fun and unique experience; genuinely. Though, I could only give the venue 4-stars as there were three glaring issues we had noticed.1. Food portion/price.For what you pay, per item, the portion size is absolutely too small; and I'm not a big person (I don't eat very much) but I still thought the price point was set too high for the given portions. And this issue extended to the drinks as well. A glass of Umeshu was equivalent to barely 2 shots worth of liquid.(In the photo, you'll see my full" glass that hadn't yet been touched)2. (One) Staff Member. Most of the staff were beautifully polite. Except one.It was a female staff member
