This spot is located just off the Lakes Way and offers amazing views over Wallis Lake and dramatic sunsets when conditions are right. There are a couple of picnic tables to sit at or you can remain in your car to appreciate the view, just make sure you have the Aeroguard on as it’s a mosquito paradise. A small boat ramp of sorts allows for easy launching of kayaks / canoes / paddle boards. Shops and cafes are 5 minutes away at Blueys Beach so grab some takeaway and bring it here to eat.

Great venue to view the sunset. Only one picnic table so not for huge groups. Had a kookuburra visit us as we photographed the sunset

Amazing sunset, the lake is super beautiful to spend a day around and you have the beach some minutes away from it.

Beautiful view. Only 15mins out of Tuncurry. Just be warned the mozzies attack immediately & dont mind hitching a lift if you leave car door open too long. But very much worth a visit for the sunset. You dont actually need to get out of car as you pull up right near the waters edge.

Loved it! A very nice place to enjoy the sun setting on the horizon behind the lake. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area ☺️ don't forget your camera, you'll definitely have great footage to come back with.
