We've been a fair few times over the past couple of years but on our last visit two days ago for lunch, the food was the worst it's ever been. I ordered the slow cooked brisket and it was so tough I couldn't cut it with a knife. My hubby had the chicken wings and he was not overly impressed either. It's a shame because it's a lovely location and we love the beer here. But we wouldn't come back for the food.

They brew their own beer, and the beer that I had was pretty tasty.There have been mixed reviews about the food from this place, but the advice was to stay with the burgers and you couldn't go wrong. I stayed with the Pumpy burger and chips, and it was great, and not incredibly expensive.Not cheap, not a lot of atmosphere, but plenty of people eating and drinking and being merry.What else do you need?

Delta and her team are phenomenal. The level of service is next level. I have been to this venue multiple times after work and every time my colleagues and I felt so welcomed to the extent that we have been coming back every day! Thanks to all the crew! You’re as amazing as your strawberry and guava sour!

Had a great time over the weekend.Sat both indoors and outdoors in the summer sun.Food was great, I had the chef special and my partner had a pizza. Beers are even better; the lager and Red XPA (seasonal release) were stand outs for me. 100% will come again and recommend to others.

A really, REALLY lovely place to enjoy a very decent craft beer and an excellent feed at the Pumpyard bar.The staff are unbelievably courteous and helpful, the ambience is SO good, the menu is spot-on for the style of place (the selection of drinks and food is just right), and there's a great range of peripheral products to buy - take home ales made on the premises (of course), t-shirts, stubby holders, and more.I didn't realise it immediately, but there are no big screens shouting horse racing or footy at you. I love that.In a nutshell, 4 Hearts Brewing and the Pumpyard is a superb place to spend time at. Even the loos are clean and tidy. Exceptional work, everyone.Overall, a very nice, family-friendly venue.Highly recommended.

Restaurant & bar in Ipswich city. We had brisket loaded chips which were yummy, but would go no cheese next time. Service of food was reasonable. Ordering food is done at the bar, where bar staff also make the drinks. This slows down the process & we had to wait quite a while in line.

An interesting place to eat and drink in the heart of Ipswich. Food quality is excellent, although the portion size is a little on the small side for the money, but the range of beers is excellent. The alcoholic ginger beer was a particular hit. Worth a visit.

The staff here are the jewels in the crown. Seriously, great hospitality, big friendly smiles, prompt service, and absolutely no fussing. The staff need to be acknowledged first and foremost. Moving onto the atmosphere, this place is great, a steam punk industrial stylised theme throughout with touches of true old world style with Chesterfield sofas scattered throughout to sink into and enjoy the live music or each other's company. The beer vats are on display and the place is immaculately clean. As for the food, omg 5 stars for taste, preparation time and value for $. I have attached pictures to demonstrate. Scratch and sniff the screen if you like, the food is crazy good. The house Moscato is deliciously smooth and pleasing to the palate. Free parking on-site, alfresco and interior dining and family friendly.

We've been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Service is always good, with friendly staff, once has been a bit slow but it was busy so that's understandable. Beer here really goes down well, absolutely love their ginger beer. Food has always been on point, with decent size servings. Food coma every time!

Visited a fair few times over the years & it’s been an absolute favourite. Great food, drinks, vibe & location.Haven’t visited in about 5 months until last night & can say I was very disappointed with the food. We ordered the margarita pizza, the Smokey pumpy burger & fries & the brisket loaded fries. They have changed the recipe on the loaded fries as these used to be my favourite I’ve ever had. The chips were almost under cooked, looked anaemic & so dry. The pizza had hardly any cheese, was undercooked & had no flavour. The beef on the burger was so over cooked was so dry & hard to swallow. We couldn’t finish any of the meals which was a shame because the staff are always so friendly & we used to rave about this place to family & friends.Just isn’t the vibe anymore, wouldn’t recommend.
