I love getting my hair done here, Kim nails my hair colour every time, after a fairly difficult job I gave her of going from brown/ blonde/bronze mess she has gotten me to such a beautiful all over blonde all while keeping my hair long and healthy.All the girls are so lovely and welcoming, I can’t imagine going anywhere else now.

The girls there are very lovely and the place is very nice. However, unfortunately I’m really unhappy with the outcome of my hair colour. I naturally have ashy brown hair and I routinely get my hair dyed platinum blonde with my ashy brown roots blended in for a nicer re-growth. I made this known with reference pictures at the time of booking and stated that I have a decent amount of regrowth ( I had also sent a picture of the current state of my hair ) . It came time for my appointment where I showed more reference pictures, as well as a picture of my hair when it was last dyed as this was my first time there so I wanted to be very thorough with what I wanted . Throughout the process I continued to ask the lady if my hair will be platinum blonde which she said yes to multiple times. The final results were definitely blonde, but not the platinum blonde I normally get and asked for. The lady informed me towards the end that she toned my roots a warmer colour (which I had never asked for, and it was not discussed with me during the appointment) I was not bothered by this at the time as their lighting was bright and I couldn’t see any faults . But the next day in natural lighting I was able to see that my roots were ginger. Ive had non stop comments since that my hair is ginger and looks like it was dyed at home (which is very frustrating since I paid $300+). Incredibly disappointed as I never asked for my roots to be dyed ( which has altered my facial appearance as I’m not naturally a ginger) and they failed to provide the colour I asked for. I then messaged the next day and mentioned my hair has a ginger tone and if I can fix it at home with purple treatment and they gave me a response that felt like an excuse saying my hair was very dark and requires multiple sessions to produce a platinum blonde colour. Which I am 100% aware is not the case as I have been dying my hair platinum blonde in one session for years. I can appreciate that they offered to re-tone my hair the next day (after I told them it’s been done in one session multiple times before and sent pictures again of my hair when it was last dyed) however it did not fit into my schedule and was an inconvenience to go back as I was getting my hair done for a holiday. Overall, I am not too bothered that my hair is not the platinum I asked for, but mostly upset that my natural roots had been altered to a ginger colour. I do believe the hairdressers there are talented but I would have much appreciated being made aware at the time of booking if they felt they were unable to produce the colour I asked for, rather than saying it’s fine and taking my money.

Extremely welcoming staff who are lovely to be around and make you feel at home in the salon. They were professional and clear with what they were doing at what time and couldn’t have done a better job. I highly recommend this salon for not only their amazing work but great staff!

Bloom are a modern and welcoming hairdresser, run by passionate small business owners. I have been seeing Kim for my hair cuts and colouring for years. She is skilled, professional and knowledgeable and she always ensures she delivers exactly what I'm looking for.

Highly recommend Bloom hair artistry. The staff were wonderful, friendly and amazingly talented nailing the colours and styles for 4 of us. Not only are we super happy with results, it was a wonderful afternoon spent getting our hair done together, not to mention their use of top quality and environmentally conscious products. Great results, wonderful experience.

Isabelle did an amazing job of my hair as always. The colour is so fresh and is lasting longer than the last place I went. They obviously use good products and the service was great. I liked that they weren't overly busy, each hairdresser had a client but not more than one at a time while I was there. Very clean salon with friendly and accommodating staff.
