Anthony, Natalie and the team at Broadbean Catering were amazing! We held the BMW Nationals Gala Dinner at the National Museum of Australia on the Canberra Day long weekend with 160+ guests. The chef, all the wait and bar staff were wonderful, efficient and highly professional, and the food was of the highest quality and beautifully presented.The Gala Dinner was a resounding success and all of the guests that attended were very impressed by the venue, the staff and the food. One particular comment stands out, 'this would have to be one of the best venues I've been to, the food was amazing and will be hard to beat’.I can highly recommend Broadbean Catering; they are a wonderful company and a pleasure to work with.

Natalie, Ben and the Broadbean team went above and beyond in every single way to help make our wedding perfect! Not only did they make the planning completely stress free and easy but on the night they were so much fun and just added to atmosphere on the night. We had so many comments not only about the set up but about how good the staff were. I cannot recommend getting married at the National Museum enough and if you were contemplating this as a venue you’d be crazy not to take the leap. I promise you won’t regret it!

My husband and I held our wedding in the Peninsula Room and were very happy with the whole organisation process and final event. Everything from initial contact to final execution went smoothly and I have no comments for improvement (which is rare for me as I am very picky about customer service). From initial contact with Anthony and then liaising with Natalie, we found both to be polite, responsive and helpful. Thank you for making our special day run so smoothly, and helping to create pleasant memories.We had previously attended an event catered by Broadbean, so knew that their food was good. Broadbean didn't disappoint - the wedding tasting session was excellent, and allowed us to make a minor change to the menu. We were more than happy with the food served on the wedding night.Natalie was a pleasure to deal with - good with follow up, answering questions, and arranging details. Our original venue of The Bay Windows had to be changed - this was handled well, and we were pleased with the alternative provided. On the night itself, everything went smoothly. The wait staff were excellent, discreetly ensuring canapes and drinks were readily available, and deftly serving all courses. Even the security guard had excellent people skills.Based on our experience, we highly recommend Broadbean Catering. The only thing we'd change in hindsight is to start the event earlier, so there was more time to talk to everyone!

We had our wedding at the National Museum with Broadbean Catering & Events and it was everything we could've hoped for! The food was amazing, staff were very attentive and friendly, and the Peninsula room was perfect. Natalie and Anthony were so great to work with in the lead up, with good communication and always very flexible with our requests. The menu tasting offering before the wedding was a highlight for us, it allowed us to pick the perfect dishes that we were then excited for our guests to try. Natalie took away our stress with planning, helping out with schedules and contacting vendors, the day went seamlessly. We would highly recommend Broadbean!

We had one of our Conference dinners in the Peninsula Room. The staff were all good but especially our coordinator Brittany. Bathroom facilities were handy and the Peninsula room was spot-on; plenty of room to move around. The food was plentiful and high quality as were the wines. Table service was excellent as well. All in all our staff had a great night and the location was great.Would definitely hold our conference meetings there next time, as well.

My Husband and I had our Wedding reception here and i have nothing but good things to say, from the venue set up to the staff on the night but most importantly to Natalie and Ben who made sure they went above and beyond to make sure our special day was extra special.I wanted to decorate the venue my way and Natalie made sure that what i had dreamt of came to fruition, The venue and reception was more than i could have imagined and i would recommend this venue and team to my friends and family in a heart beat.

Natalie and the team did an amazing job for our wedding! The food was excellent, everything ran smoothly, our guests were happy and we had a wonderful day.

We are very glad that we selected Broadbean at the National Museum for our daughter's wedding reception. Natalie is lovely, super organised and highly effective. Nothing was too much trouble! We handed over shoe boxes of decorations on Friday afternoon and walked into a beautifully decorated room on Saturday morning. Our guests were impressed by the food and the service.

The Broadbean team catered our wedding celebrations and it was everything we'd hoped it would be.It was already a great day but their service made it even better. The food was excellent, as were the wines and the beer. And as for the staff: they were lovely, the food kept coming at regular intervals and nobody's glass was empty at any stage.Standouts: the desserts, the duck pancakes and the ravioli with roasted tomatoes (and everything else really). Only the veal meatballs got some mixed feedback, with some people loving them and some people being a bit taken aback by the tart flavour.Some of our friends liked the food so much they were talking about the possibility of Broadbean catering a Christmas lunch. Given their liking for tasty food that is a pretty good endorsement.Communication with the Lesleigh and Anthony of the Broadbean team was excellent and they responded quickly to any questions and requests. Anthony and the team at Broadbean were exceptional! They were beyond helpful in navigating a difficult covid-19 experience, and made our special night more than we could have ever imagined. We held our wedding reception at the NMA and could not have envisioned how well they organised the space. The service from the staff was warm, efficient and highly professional, and the food was of the highest quality and presented stylishly. Our 160+ guests could not stop raving about how well Broadbean catered for the event in every aspect and we can't recommend or speak highly enough of them. They are a high class company, and are deserving of any accolade they recieve.
