This is a very basic pub but the food was great & we sat on the deck under a shady tree that the deck has been built around to eat our meal. My other half had rissoles and vegetables, whilst I had crumbed fish and vegetables. I didn't ask if there was wine as I felt like a cider. So for $50 we had a beer, an apple cider & 2 very adequate meals. Lunch is between 12-2 & dinner between 6-8pm. A lot of locals came in to buy their takeaway liquor whilst we were there.

Setting was fine and people were friendly. We ordered fish and chips, a garden salad and burgers. The fish came out as chicken and the salad was beyond basic with no dressing. When we asked for dressing there wasn't anything at all. We asked about the chicken to be told they'd run out of fish so they gave us chicken. The person who it was for didn't eat chicken. So wouldn't recommend. The burgers were OK. Stray dog ended up with the chicken so at least someone did well.

Opening hours says 12pm on a Sunday. Sat in car waiting and still not open at 20 past 12. Missed the business of 2 other vehicles that stopped in. If you aren't open at 12 change ypur operating hours online. People travel a long way looking forward to a feed and a beer before continuing. Very disappointing

Stopped here on way to Innot Hot Springs around lunchtime Food was pre-cooked and being kept warm in bae maree. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great place. Called in to have lunch, got a smile and hello from the barman, and then a big smile from the lady who brought out my meal. Don't expect the food to be flash,but great prices something I would have cooked up at home for myself and that's fine by me, 100% I will go back again

A nice little country pub with a free pool table and very friendly staff. We went there for a feed and were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious and brought to us by a very kind lady with a big smile on her face - the cook herself, I believe.The only reason why I won't give it 5 stars is because the music was playing a bit too loud for my taste, and I found it a bit annoying, but that's me.
