Great tranquil place to enjoy nature and get some exercise. There are picnic tables and BBQ facilities and toilet amenities too. The walking trails go around the dam and can easily be done in about an hour or more depending if you stop to enjoy the views of Mt. Wellington or selfie stop!

Me and my partner went here for the first time it was a wonderful and peaceful experience lots of lovely birds and Bushland they also have a park for kids a car park and toilets. People even take their toy sailboats and have races on the water. Lots of Mum's with their prams people jogging & brisk Walkers. Lots of parents with their kids getting them off their devices and back to nature if you have not been here before I recommend you give it a go :)

Spend a bit of time running around here, either for my regular Parkrun fix or for running up Mt Direction. Tough going, but worth it. Well done to Taswater for the upkeep and making it available.
