Tim's Take Away & Bottle Shop

Traveling through from Tasmania, I chose this place because of the numerous positive reviews about their fish and chips. I'm pleased to say the food and service didn't disappoint. The place is sparkling clean and great staff Best fish and chips ever.

Two large gravy sitting next to $15 of chips and 4 scallops that cost 38:60, I once loved this shop but I guess it'll never be how Tim had it, absolutely appalling pricing, kfc would of cost less and kids would of got more but they wanted this, never again will I bother buying from here!

Good old fashioned fish and chips.Wrapped in paper like the old days , also has a bottleshop attached if you need a cold one to go with it . Very good.

Excellent old style fish and chippy, food was cooked perfectly and not overpriced. Bonus is the bottle shop incorporated next door.

My favourite fish and chip shop in Mildura. Tasty fish and properly prepared batter and crispy chips.

Excellent fish n chips

Had fish and chips here last night on the recommendation of Discover Mildura. All I have to say is not disappointed Great fish and chips highly recommended. Going tonight to try there fabulous beef burgers.Great little family business.went back for the beef burger next evening it was the best burger I have had in any eatery this little shop is the best..the family that run it take a pride in there food and it comes through in the taste..as I said great family atmosphere.

Best potato cakes in town. I don't need to say any more. Other than there is a weird Chiko roll advertisement on the shelf.

Potato cakes are pricey and yes I know potatoes cost more but they were all small compared to the ones in the display. Fish is small and a little dry. Portions of chips was not enough. Meat patties in burgers are very thin and have to much flour and paprika. And one of the patties was one third smaller than the other three. Not enough salt and no lemon with fish. For two very small fish 4 potato cakes three minimum chips and four plain burgers for $74 dollars is not value. Three young girls and two adults were still hungry. Customer service was 5 star food delivery was 4 star and burgers were a 1 star while the fish was a 2 star minus 1 star for being way to small and over cooked.And I am an expert as I grew up working in Greek fish and chip shops.I don't know how the reviews are so high as I've had fish and burgers from the other two shops in the area and both were much better so maybe some of the reviews need to be examined.Compared to Melbourne this is very poor sorry to say.
