Doggy Beach
Good place for dogs, where did are welcomed and tolerated. Good exercise area off leash. Good facilities for humans as well.

Beautiful! Water is so clear - can see the bottom six feet up. Bring goggles if you like looking at baby fish - brim, flathead etc.Plus my dog loved it too hahaha!

We have been to a lot of dog beaches and this is the best. We were there on a weekday,it was quiet with a few other dogs. Parking may be hard to find

We both loved this area. Plenty of areas to run around and play and the water was lovely. Nice and clean and the girl enjoyed the play out in a different area! Plenty of parking but can get busy.

It's the best doggy beach I've ever been to.The way the lake/beach is structured, there ends up being bush that makes up these private sand bars where you can swim privately with your dog.The water warms up in summer, it's like a bath. The water is clean so your dog doesn't get sick.I would recommend bringing a LOT of insect repellent because I was bitten alive by insects. There was always a lot of parking and friendly dogs so you can literally relax and unwind.

Tide was high so not much beach but later found out you could walk a trail around the water offload. Needs better dog signage.

Lovely if you can walk there - parking can be challenging. A really extensive walking and swimming area. Plenty of excellent dog swimming spots. Much cleaner than many other busy dog beaches! Worth the trek from further out, and 110% worth if you are staying with your dog close the Hastings
