When looking for a mechanic on my return to Victoria I googled Yarravalley Auto and because of reviews decided to have my 4WD serviced by him. I have never been disappointed. I went travelling around Australia and my engine stopped working while in Alice Springs and was towed to Bens workshop where he diagnosed a cracked head and sourced a quality secondhand motor and installed it. During the process he was aware how anxious I was about this decision and process and he invited me to the workshop to show and explain in detail what had occurred. He encouraged me to take photos of it and ask questions. He kept me updated and informed throughout. He provided me with a comprehensive breakdown of cost of all the options available to me. It’s been 6 weeks since the car was fixed now andI have just driven across the nullabor (along the old Eyre highway aswell) and am now in Perth and my car is still running smoothly and without any problems. I found my experience at Yarra Valley Autocare to be completely different to any other mechanics I've been to and in a very good way.I'm a young-ish female and have been treated in the past like I have no idea, however when I dropped my car off to Ben at Yarra Valley Autocare, he ran through the whole service with me to make sure I understood what I was getting for my money and explained it in terms that I understood without making me feel like an idiot.I appreciate the honesty and customer service that I received and will recommend this auto mechanic workshop to everyone who appreciates fantastic customer relations and want to get the smoothest ride your car is capable of.

From the very beginning when I called them they were more than accommodating in organising to inspect a car we were looking to buy. The team was in contact with us through the whole process even though we are based in a different state. Drove a car in for a RWC first inspection. When I went to collect it, there was an additional charge for work already completed.I refused to pay for work I had not authorised. I made them take out the $66 'bespoke' screw. They said it had been necessary because they could not operate the car for the inspection without fastening the gear selector knob on first.They were trying to charge me for half an hour spent finding a screw in the workshop and cutting it down to size because they didn't have the right standard size (M4 10mm) screw on hand. Afterwards, I spent $3.42 at Bunnings to replace it myself. Of course it still passed the RWC.

After a very expensive quote for my service and repairs from my manufacturer, I googled car servicing in my area and Yarra Valley Autocare popped up. I am so glad it did. Ben is fantastic, he got my car in, inspected it, gave me an honest quote and booked my car in for its work quickly and without any hassles. I now don't have to be nervous when my car is due for anything as this place is great. Fantastic service, thanks Ben!

Ben takes amazing care and always calls me to tell me what’s wrong so I always know what’s going on with my car I’ve been going to him for two years now and never had an issue. And absolute legend.
