Right from day one, from being quick with his responses, being transparent and upfront about everything from the get go, to being super friendly and accomodating, Ian has been an absolute delight to work with!The day we had our pre-wedding shoot with Ian was the first time we met him in person and any nervousness we’d been carrying completely melted away. He was so friendly, goofy and easy to get along with that we didn’t even realise how time went by and we came up with such amazing shots! Ian is amazing!His passion and love for photography can be seen through the quality of his work. I was a little nervous about posing for photos, but Ian made us feel comfortable and I actually enjoyed myself. He was patient, with an eye for detail and his creativity was second to none.We actually had two wedding ceremonies in two different cities. Ian was willing to travel and gave us a really affordable and great price.Our first wedding was a Hindu ceremony and it was extremely important to my husband that the right moments were captured. Ian did not disappoint and we were grateful to have someone who really understood and listened to our needs. When we received our photos we were delighted to see that every key moment had been so beautifully captured.The second wedding was a Christian ceremony. It was overcast, rainy and freezing cold. Despite the challenges Ian kept an upbeat spirit and found creative ways to ensure we still got a wide range of pictures we now treasure.We honestly cannot recommend Ian highly enough!

Ian from IAN COOMAR is a brilliant photographer who was so accommodating to us on our wedding day. He was patient, funny and extremely talented and we had so much fun working with him. Even when it was pouring down with rain outside on our wedding day, Ian managed to still produce the photos that we wanted and had spoken about. We wanted an element of fun in our wedding photos and that really came through in the finished product. Ian was our photographer for our 2 day wedding and was amazing! We started with a pre wedding photo shoot which was extremely valuable, because it meant we got to know each other, and as a result the wedding photo shoots went so smoothly. Ian was great at capturing all the candid moments, as well as the professional shots. He went above and beyond to ensure we had stellar photos as memories of a very special weekend. We would definitely use him again for another photo shoot!

Ian is amazing! We highly recommend him for your wedding or special event. From our initial meeting to the wedding day, everything was seamless. Ian is super patient, and we loved his easy-going nature especially dealing with two people who would usually be hiding from the camera. A full day of photos can be quite tiring, but Ian makes the experience enjoyable. Ian works fast, we were able to see a large sample of photos within 2 weeks of the wedding. When the final photos were sent to us, we were so happy with them, as were our respective families. Every moment was captured, and we were able to re-live our special day just from the photos. In a market where there are many photographers, Ian has that edge thanks to his personality that makes him great to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and couldn’t recommend him enough.

Ian did a great job with photos for our anniversary event. Really listened to what we wanted and added his own flair to the photos. Went above and beyond by adjusting dresses/shirts etc in every new location/pose and had incredible attention to detail. He was also really personable and funny and made us feel super comfortable across the shoot - which made all the difference. Quality of the pictures was great and we couldn't have asked for a better service.

Ian is absolutely fantastic. He was very responsive and had a plan for the couple photoshoot ready to go on the day. The photos are so gorgeous, with amazing lighting and quality. The candid shots during the ceremony and reception captured the day so well. We are both so happy with his work. Ian was also very responsive and accommodating with the after shoot service.
