Canceled appointment after a 6 week wait giving only few hours of notice. No followup apointment or rescheduling offered. Totally inappropriate course of action considering the audience seeking these services.Edit in response - each point raised by PeopleSense is inaccurate to the point I'm not sure it's intentionally misleading or simply incompetence. The apt was not cancelled due to a 'health emergency'. It was cancelled because they decided not to take on 'new' clients. Hardly new after a 6 week wait?? After waiting this long, this is simply not an acceptable excuse. Unlike an emergency, this is totally foreseeable and should have been planned accordingly. Don't make appointments if you're simply unable or unwilling to keep them.Further, a telehealth session was not offered and nor a rescheduled appointment. No follow up at all was given, in fact, and I had to call myself to get answers on behalf of my wife who by this point was in tears. When dealing with a vulnerable population, this complete lack of engagement or empathy is distressing, callous, and inappropriate. What happened to duty of care?After enquiring, it took several DAYS for someone to follow up and offer another appt (with the same psych who could suddenly accommodate after all). Given they'd had no issue cancelling the long awaited apt with no regard, my wife obviously did not feel comfortable with this. Funnily enough, they responded to this review quite quickly (!)All in all, an absolutely horrible experience start to finish. I am further frustrated by the complete inaccuracies in the company's response which describe how the process SHOULD have gone, rather than how it actually went. It's clear they know what to do, they apparently just don't care enough to do it. If you have literally ANY other choice, I would strongly recommend you save yourself the distress this has caused us and go somewhere else.
