This one is the worst in all Laurent cafes... I loved this brand of cafe store for years.I set most of my meetings wondering if I have to go to Brighton, Camberwell or CBD in this brand cafe... but this time little disappointed because I asked to hold my coffee until my client comings.When I went to ask to make coffee for us then the lady on the counter said that I need to do it myself... I find it is not hard why no... so I have run another side to ask the coffee section the lady to my coffee... looks the service bad... anywhere next time in Kew, I won't go there any more...

We loved all the amazing desserts, pastries, sandwiches and my boys fav hot chocolate.Perfect place to catch up with family, friends and school holiday treats.Highly recommended the desserts were so beautiful

Laurent is one of the nicer cafes in Kew. I love the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere; it's a great place to escape from the cold during the winter months. They have delicious soups and sandwiches and well as a range of baked sweets to tempt even the most health conscious patrons.

Visited three times in one week, it's local and I want to like this place as it has a nice fitout and it's comfortable. I really wish the staff would smile a little for their customers, it doesn't hurt, acknowledge them when they're busy and you might be a little busier. The lattes are good but the hot chocolate is rather bland and boring on my last two visits. There's a good selection of food and cakes and our danishes appeared to be fresh on our visits. One suggestion, have marshmallows for kiddies that come in with parents as it's a cheap treat and I've now found another cafe that does offer them.

Tried the Kew store after a bad experience at the Balwyn store, hoping they would be better. Unfortunately, it was worse. Staff chatted to each other at the register while they kept me waiting. No smile, nothing to greet me when they finally looked up. No thank you for the business.The cakes we bought tasted stale. At $12 per cake this isn’t what you expect.It feels like Laurent has dropped the ball on staff training and service. There doesn’t appear to be any management or quality control of the stores.
