Mr. Good Guy Hobart
A group of 6 of us went recently on a Sunday night for an early sitting so was very quiet when we arrived. Menus were explained well and orders taken with drinks and entrees delivered to table reasonably quickly. There were only 3 staff on the floor, so as the restaurant filled up, they were increasingly overwhelmed with the workload having to seat customers, take drinks and food orders, deliver food, clear tables and take payments as well. Our empty glasses and entree plates sat for around half an hour before we requested them to be taken away and have our mains sent - then it was another 20 to 30 mins before mains arrived. Food was all super tasty and the waitstaff did as well as they could, but service and wait times could definitely be improved.

Staff is so friendly love the menu, the food and also a nice place to catch up with friends and spend time. The table were abit far to each other so you can actually have conversations

Went to this place on our last night at Hobart and it was very disappointing. Saw lots of good reviews and articles about this place online so decided to try it.The food was very average and that's a generous statement. The beef and rice was nice, however the other chicken dish was quite bland. The Bao was good. The rice dessert was disappointing as the rice was undercooked, soupy, and lukewarm.This place was probably better when it first opened. Would not recommend or return unfortunately.

All the food was lovely. Wasn’t happy with the mango sticky rice. Service was good and the staff was friendly. The google map location is not accurate.

This place was fantastic. Service was quick and friendly. Location is good. I had the spring rolls and bao buns for entree, with a pad thai as a main. All were very good, pad thai could’ve used a bit more flavor though.

A wonderful experience. Our first visit and we will definitely be back. We enjoyed a range of small plates of which the satay chicken was a highlight. We also tried the Nyonya chicken and potato curry and the salt and pepper squid. Both were absolutely delicious. The cocktails were a delicious accompaniment and fun twists on some classics. Service was super quick and everyone was so friendly, professional and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Went there for Dinner as we were exhausted to venture out. Was hesitant a bit, to try Malaysian/ Singapore fare as I wanted to eat Indian. Pleasant ambience, Excellent Service! Food tasted similar to what I had eaten before in Authentic Malaysian restaurants. Thanks to the chef and the team.
