Marri Badoo Reserve
Huge area of bush that's fun to explore great for bushwalking along the creek. You can also walk dogs here however they have to be on a leash. There are also playgrounds here to.

Marri Badoo Reserve
Delightful waterfall which flows well after rainfall but often keeps running for weeks later. Numerous ducks seen as well as water dragons. Great spot to just sit and chill out listening to the soothing sound of running water. Please take away any litter and keep this gem clean for all to enjoy.

Regular visitors to the reserve. Only thing that detracts is the cranky old guy with large property at the bridge on park Rd.Crank freaks out when people toss a few stones into creek, acts like your trying to flood the reserve.

HISTORYMarri Badoo reserve is part of The Ponds Track it travels from Eric Mobbs Lookout Carlingford through to Crowgey Street Rydalmere. This track is approximately 7.2 km.Marri Badoo means ' many waters' in the Dating language this recognises the chain of ponds and springs that flow through the reserve which forms Ponds Creek and it's tributaries. The area was first settled in 1791 by Governor Arthur Phillip originally called 'The Ponds' the surrounding 30 to 50 acres of land was granted to 14 former convicts and families. The area was named Dundas in 1790 but was not formally used until the late 1800s in the early years of the area was known as Pennant Hills.I enjoyed walking around here today lots of lizards scuttled across my path, I saw baby tadpoles in the ponds when I walked off the normal trail there were a couple of play areas.
