Initially I didnt leave a review after my appointment as the hairdresser was apologetic and aware of her mistake. It's been a few months since my appointment and my hair is still feeling the affects of this hairdressers mistake so I need to post this review.I asked for blonde foils, hoping to make it a little lighter all over. What came out was a grey/purple/brown colour. The hairdresser had to wash my hair THREE times to get the toner out. To which a really disgusting orangey/blonde was the result. I had to leave because the entire process took close to FOUR hours. I went back the next day to put another toner in. I specifically requested not to have an auburn tinge to it... but there is... to this day, even after having it coloured brown all over to cover their mistake... an auburn tinge on my roots.The owner of the salon blamed me for not bringing in photos. My question is, why in the world would the hairdresser choose a colour/toner that would make my hair ash blonde... when my existing foils were caramel blonde??? A clear mistake that I am still paying for, to this day.On top of this, the apprentice took about 45 minutes to dry my hair. Slowest service I have ever received. And I'm extremely, EXTREMELY dissapointed with this place.

I was a bit hesitant to try another hair salon, as in the last years I have lots of hair-disasters" with different hairdressers...tried many...and finally I find one which ticks all the boxes...Riette is amazing...knows her stuff...she listened patiently as I tried to explain abut the colour failures before and that I wanted a style change as well...showed her the pictures I liked and she did a fabulous cut and then harmonized the colour beautifully...(and it didn't turn reddish like usually). She was very friendly

I booked an appointment for my mum and I for wash, cut and dry. Kate was very welcoming, and asked lots of questions to make sure we received the best service possible. We are both really happy with our styles and can't wait for our next appointment.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of work and service. Treated myself back in May to 1/2 head foils, cut and blow wave for my birthday. The unqualified hairdresser was rushing between myself and two other clients.I was there for 4 hours my foils were a horrible colour and not what I asked for (hairdresser didn't check just got apprentice to wash out) so a toner was then applied, no timer on and left for too long turning pink. Washed out then no time for cut ( no way I was getting that done) told I could book in for that later. Went home couldn't run my fingers through my hair so washed it twice myself to get the toner out completely. 6 weeks later and many purple shampoos the colour still looks horrible. No follow up from the hairdresser. I would never leave a bad review but people need to be aware when booking in here..

So impressed by the result of my haircut and colour at Dolce, I've been meaning to leave a review for over a month and finally got around to it.Actually, I am a really hard customer to please because I really am a fuss-pot when it comes to hair styling.My first visit to Dolce Hair and Beauty Salon and I honestly didn't expect such a superb result.It's been about six weeks since my visit, and my colour is *still* AMAZING.They got it just perfect for my skin-tone and I didn't have any sample colours to take to that first appointment either.What's more, even though it's blonde, my hair isn't dried out like it often can be when a bleach-base product is applied to hair.Then with the cut, I'm REALLY blown away (forgive the pun)! I have thick hair that can grow out badly, but not the case after Dolce wielded their scissors to my mane.I'm still SUPER DELIGHTED with my hair and have been for weeks. This is a first for me!Dolce really listened to what I wanted, and also used their own intuition to seriously deliver the best possible result.*I'm so so sooooo happy* and recommend them with bells on!*Thank you so much to the team at Dolce.*Oh, and they're fantastically hospitable too... as if it couldn't get better. They're lovely ladies, honestly - AMAZING.

This salon is an absolute gem! They are so attentive and go above and beyond with service and care every time, making sure they know exactly what it is you are looking for and what to expect upfront (thanks Emma)! From start to finish, always WONDERFUL!!! My daughter loves her ombre hair( thanks to Kate-I think?)! I would gladly recommend them to everyone I know!

Not only is parking difficult here as 2 hours max road side but I was also Very disappointed with the service, the hairdresser was unqualified and was done under no supervision, she herself said she wasn’t happy with the colour and if I decided to go back she would do it at no additional cost. I sent her photos of my hair after and agreed it was not the look I previously sent photos of, no where near, she said she would have a think about it and would get back to me. She never did and stopped responding to my texts. Also I realised after she didn’t do the treatment I also payed for which was supposedly included in my package.
