Busselton Police Station

I went here to pick my son up. He was arrested again for not wearing a helmet. He always must wear his helmet, that's the rules. They treated him well and he is doing much better. He'll be back to normal in only 3 more cycles.

In a town full of meth-heads you would imagine these professional revenue raisers would have better things to do than chase down and fine people $50 for not wearing a helmet while they are riding to their full time job. Never mind the unemployed junkies who live on welfare and steal from others, lets target innocent people who are not causing any harm to anybody, just to make some extra money for our wasteful government. Apparently being $50 poorer will increase my safety, according to a young constable trying to fill his daily revenue quota. Pathetic.

Just got off the phone to them and am startled how abrupt and rude Sandy" brushed off my enquiry and then proceeded to just hang up on me.If I ever had another concern I would dread having to call and risk speaking to this person on the phone. Someone needs to get Sandy into a role that doesn't involve communication skills. Whatever happened to basic manners.Thanks for nothing Sandy."

Be very cautious of the revenue raising. They were only too happy to write me a ticket for not coming down to the reduced speed around town quickly enough (I was coasting down by disengaging cruise control). Fine seemed unreasonable. As I was getting my ticket I witnessed another officer basically laughing as she jogged over to another vehicle to take more easy revenue.

I was totally appalled at the way I was treated by a sergeant. I came into the station to report an assault I was subject to and this sergeant without even letting me get a quarter way through the story interrupted me and recounted my story back to me but with misinformation, I tried to correct that by explaining the situation further, but he was offended by this and started getting aggressive at me, then started accusing me of being aggressive. I was not being aggressive, I was shaking, I was literally minutes before subject to violence and this man refused to even take me seriously. Even threatened to eject me from the station. He even made a comment about my attire. This is not the protective services that I expect from a sergeant whom is paid for by our taxes. I was expecting at least a little bit of compassion at the very least! Instead I was just pre-judged, and abused by the people who are supposed to be protecting us. His superior came out at one point and was a really nice man, but this sergeant really should not be a police officer.

The staff are most helpful and the police highly efficient and understanding of the needs of the public. They do a difficult job to the highest standards and we are fortunate to have them protecting our town form the local criminals and drug dealers.Please thank then when you come into contact with them off the brave work they do protecting us.

The person that answered the phone at 9pm Friday 20th December was abrupt and completely unhelpful. If you don’t like your job, go do something else.

I enjoyed the service

Only good thing is alcohol is banned , but the laws about lawyers when your been attempted murdered and are needing medication that could cause SUDEP and your forced basically if you want too see your kids too agree too interview or wait another 5 or 6 hours for some pleader lawyer is kinda unAustralian but that's what this country is now a nanny state on steroids

What a beat. One of the best seaside towns around. If they weren't so busy keeping all the blowins,drunks,junkies and idiots inline they could enjoy ot more. Good job
